You can buy one of those directly from Liberty for a heck of a lot cheaper (I think the slim fit ones are around £125, and you can pick them up for dirt once I sale swings by). They don't have any online at the moment, but go to the bottom floor of the shop and they have a shelf wall full of them in different colours/prints combinations.

can someone elaborate on the differences between the doc martens 1461-59, 1461, and 1461 plain welt? Also does the 1462 plain welt come in a black that isnt matte? thanks

The 1461 is the standard shoe version.

The 1461 PW is the same but without the stitching around the sole, it is smooth, hence the 'plain welt' - as far as I am aware it only comes in matte.

The 1461 59 is a modern version of the shoe, it has a slimmer side and the toe is slightly longer and narrower - kinda less clunky than the average 1461.
