Moving to CPH on the 9th of May. If anyone has advice, connections or recommendations on long term (6 month) accommodation i would be more then happy to receive a PM. I'm 26, tidy, friendly and will be working a fair bit. Keen to hang out with anyone as well.

I have a long list already but if anyone has any fav bars (cocktail / whisky / specific spirit focus/ damn good) that they recommend?
In town from the 4th for roughly 10 days, meeting up with mrip sometime, anyone else i have no real plans other than a bit of booze research and wandering around.0 -

Going to Japan for 6 months, working in Niseko for the ski-season.
Advice on phone/wifi/general life stuff? I will be working in a locally owned husband/wife run whiskey bar and trying to pick up the language asap.2 -

seriously, the fixed hoods kill all these jackets, such an awkward design, i find them super annoying when running and id wear a hat if i wanted to stay warm.

not intended as a sob post but why are there so many fuckin cunt type dudes out there fucking up girls heads for the nice guys that actually want to have a decent relationship with these girls. im seeing a girl and she tells me the stories of her ex's. no fucking wonder shes mad about me.
don't get me wrong i got nothing against playaz or dudes that are out for a good time, same for girls. but there are a lot of dudes that cross the line multiple times and it has fucking serious effects on people, and these dudes just move on or ignore the girl when shit hits the fan. own up to your actions. subhuman infantile ego-inflated fuckwits.14 -
back on the trails. working the mileage up very slowly. literally 3 days between runs and mad amounts of rolling. fuck gettin another injury.

i broke up with this girl n then she was dating a girl 2 days later. and i was fine with it.
girl who was a huge crush earlier in the year came into work and i just flat asked her out and we spent the last 3 nights doing stupid shit till the early hours of the morning.
sold some customers some killer bottles and they tipped $80 on a $500 bill (aus), felt some serious pride.
this year has been phenomenal and its still on the up.5 -
i saw some (fake) ro geo's in canberra the other day.

This is pretty idealistic but really rang true with me.

I'm finishing my degree this year, can't wait, less motivated the closer i get to finishing, have some big projects to do which will be a struggle. I'm not intending to utilise my degree in the short term future so i guess that is a big reason behind it all.
Enjoyed the shit out of the start of this year, made myself a better, fitter, funner and better person. Got told by some people i care a lot about that i am one of the best people that they ever met and they loved me. this was great but conflicted with romantic life at the time. Karma is comin round lately though.
Next year intend to work 60hrs a week in hospitality and get a bank then go live in denmark, basque country, japan, brazil and sf/ny with friends i made on exchange for as long as possible.1 -
Anyone know online shops with Common Projects WMNS line?

Do it as a social, fun, somewhat challenging bonding session with colleagues/friends. Too many people cram at the obstacles to have any chance of doing it flat out, its still fun though.
Somehow i have bruised the top of my foot/metatarsasls and forefoot striking really hurts now. no idea how it happens but another week off running0 -
I like it, in the nike bts vid he says he stripped a lot of the tech stuff out, to me this is a good thing. The hood and the pockets on a lot of the jackets were awkward, the short pockets were the same and they lost their shape after a couple of washes. This collection looks like its designed for running not jun fans who are running enthusiasts.

baked goods: mirabelle (go early, croissants sell out but the sandwhiches are good too, dont get a coffee) & democratic coffee (honestly the best croissant of my life, chocolate and almond varieties too, do get a coffee) & leckerbaer (little snack biscuits pretty good but pricey) & lil bror
coffee: coffee collective, go to the jaegersborggade location, its a beautiful building, way more chill, its the roastery too and the staff are fucking awesome. & democratic & lil bror.
every other coffee shop i've had coffee from, even those who stock coffee collective has been dissapointing and coffee here is expensive.
beers: mikeller & friends is way better than mikeller, bigger selection, more local, more chill, less annoying tourists asking for the most hoppy IPA. kihosk on sonder blvd, bunch of bottled beers (check out downstairs too) can take out and wander around in vesterbro. i recommened bottles from amager bryghus and herslev bryghus both are reasonable price and interesting.
go down to the kodbyen (meatpacking area) and look around.
when you eat at amass i would recommend getting a bike and riding (or walk and bus back), its interesting, there are plenty of nice house boats along the canals and the opera house is pretty cool too.
Papiroen is full of overpriced food vans but if u just take some beers out its pretty good views of the water and a fun vibe.
