Thanks Keoke
I think that about covers it for my question, if the same holds true for the Training Boot . . .
Looks like I'd swim a little in a 45

I'm lookin for info on how the CP Training Boots fit.
(this season)
I wear an 11 to 11.5 - my right foot is closer to 11.5
Pretty normal foot width (maybe a little narrow)
Thinking I need a 44 - but maybe a 45?

Dude, you're better off trying to wrangle a decent discount from Blackbird since they basically carry/carried everything you've listed here.
If you're buying a load of stuff - talk to Kris or Nicole and they might give you a bit of a deal.
For Julius it'll just be cheaper for you to fly to Japan and buy it yourself or Proxy.
This ain't a shoppin' service . . .

That is seriously half a Stillsuit

You even used the Blackbird crew to model for you!
haha.

Just noticed that REBORN finally put up their 2010 Geller stuff
http://www.reborn.ws/shop/RobertGeller/
let the kopping begin.
(also - they most definitely have a few things left from last season. I just got a Geller hoodie from them last week)

Looks like the CPs are not on sale anymore?
That was fast . . .
EDIT: oops, just not that particular pair

We *should* probably move this to another thread but . . .
I've been a long-time Aperture user and I'm considering switching over to Lightroom. Aperture has been incredibly slow for a while, and it seems like it's always processing something.
It also does NOT integrate well with Photoshop, and Lightroom does.
I dont usually do a lot of heavy photoshop work to my photos - but when I want to, it's a big annoyance to export and open in Photoshop, re-save as PSD, export to TIFF, etc.
Then again - the rumor is Aperture 'X' comes out early in 2010 . . . which could be blazing fast & awesome . . . but who knows.
Anyway - both have a free trial available - so check em both out, HDG

What is up with Canada Post taking forever to Seattle/US?
Ordered some Gellerz from reborn and it's taking FOREVER for it to arrive.
According to my tracking it arrived in "The destination country" over a week ago and no update since then.
No note about customs, nothin'.
Last item I got from Canada took a week total.
Anyone else got experiences on how long it takes?

Thank you. So, Lightroom didn't come with my CS4...right? I have to buy it seperately...
a.s.
Correct, it's a separate product

FIRST
I still think you should just double-check your process as I've seen several blogspot sites that are very photo heavy that don't look compressed.
I would also highly recommend moving to Lightroom, regardless.
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom3/
(Google is your friend
There are a bajillion tutorials out there for processing, etc so look em up!
Oh, I have all of that...i am justy so new to this...sorry. How do i get the photos onto my hosting?a.s.
FTP
basically, you register a domain
set up hosting
somewhere in there they will have FTP info
something like ftp.yourhostdomain.com
and your username/password
use an FTP program (I like Transmit for Mac, http://www.panic.com)
You'll have to drill down to your domain's "live" folder (sometimes called webdocs, or simply a folder named yourdomain.com)
Then I would just create a subfolder in there like "21images" and upload them in there. Depending on how many you have, you might want to further organize them by year or month.
then when you make your Blogger post, wherever you want to insert an image you'll need to put code like so:
<img src="http://www.youdomainname.com/images/2009/cooldudewearingafunnyhat.jpg">
and then your usual details below

Yo as/hommedeguerre/21arrondisment/dudeguy,
couple things:
1. iPhoto is not a good RAW processor
Photoshop is way better. But if you're just using iPhoto for organization, then never mind.
I'd recommend getting Lightroom or Aperture.
(Adobe's got a free Lightroom 3 Beta now that you can try out)
2. Blogger is likely re-compressing your JPGs. Definitely is better to host your own photos with a hosting service where you have more control - but you'd need to be reasonably technical or find some help.
OR you could switch to a different blogging system . . . but you'd have to bring across your archives somehow.
3. Also, you might just not be using a high enough export setting in Photoshop.
Best process for JPEGs:
- Adjust the color, etc via Photoshop's RAW import (CS3 or CS4 is best for RAW)
- Adjust further as necessary using the standard Photoshop tools/filters
- resize
- export to JPEG via Save For Web and set it to 'Very High'
shoot me an email at fightattack [at] gmail and I'll give you a more freakishly detailed HOW TO for hosting . . .

I cannot believe how good of shape the soles are in.
Are DBSS that ridiculously durable?
Puts Dick Ovens durability to shame.

I just got some CP Training Boots that fit my length great.
But they're really snug on the width - I like my shoes narrow but these feel a little uncomfortable right off the bat.
How much are these going to break in?
