Brazil is absolutely beautiful, did you just stick to Rio, and north west (since you said you went to the amazon). Went there about 8 years back, and was able to hit San Paulo, Natal, Bel Horzinte (sp), and Rio. Every stop was just breath taking, from the corcavado look out, to the sand dunes and equally amazing beaches in Rio. I also love how they embrace graffiti down there and look at is as art, seen some absolutely amazing pieces down there.
Would love to go back there.
@superfuzz, thanks that sets me at ease a bit

If i may address a few of your points, My LW,s were purchased around 2008 and have worked to within an inch of their lives in a workshop environment, i am not talking 9-5 Dolly Parton work, Between mon-sat last week i crammed in 73hours they also helped convert my Grade II listed Barn into something that resembles a dwelling, They have traveled South America dodged bullets in Brazil's favelas and trekked the Brazilian Atlantic forest. On top of this i am also a weekend warrior they have climbed Kinder Scout more times than i care to remember they have never been near a cobbler in 5+years.
Those the Engineers? Really, really want those boots. Did you get direct from Lone Wold or through HP?
Only problem I think I might have, the top of the boots being to wide for hem of my pants. My hems are usually 8"+, would you think that would be enough room to accommodate them?

From what I was told they are still getting shipments, he just wasn't entirely sure what they were going to be getting in.

Awesome, really excited to see how those turn out in the next year as mine will take a long time to show much signs of wearing with my current rotation.

So much for holding out on not getting another pair of jeans, should be getting the 991 next week sometime. Does anyone know the difference between the 991 and 991XH, the site doesn't say to much regarding the differences.

NOOOOOOOooooooooo. damn it, alright I'll probably have to try stretch it out alot more after I wash it then, thanks for the info! Appreciate it
My se05bsp had so much shrinkage still left in them after the second wash, by the time I washed them again they shrank to the point I couldn't wear em. I did gain some weight, but was really blown away at how much shrinkage was still left.

Those are really interesting looking, love that the grain goes horizontal above the yoke. They still have stock from lot 8 on the site?

Alright now you're just being an asshole, he's not trying to show you that your opinion is wrong, he is just trying to show you why his works for him. But you to blatantly call him out, and demean his job is really disrespectful. Then to blame it because you have to work on a Saturday is just a lame excuse.

It's the Lightning Denim Bible, pretty pictures and I wish I could read the words.
Any way to subscribe to Lightning outside of Japan, or just have to order individual issues?

Just use a calendar and mark down on there, but sometime I forget for a week or two and if I didn't wear same jeans whole time I end up having to guess.

^In North America, only BiG although Hickoree's carries Dubbleworks products...You can proxy from japan but I think most places are out of stock for the 1000XX. If it's in stock on the warehouse website, you can also see if Japan-Holic will special order for you, which is always cheaper than other options (including proxies IME)...
However, if you need to get things hemmed (including special orders etc), BiG is the best to work with.
Does BiG have a exclusivity with Warehouse?

Those are awesome, and what a price... I would totally go for them if I wasn't moving at the end of the month.
Can't say I've looked much past what SE carries, but I really quite like those.
