  6. SC1966 worn on and off for years and washed a ton. I have a brand new pair for sale, so DM me if these look good to you.

    Sugar Cane Denim

Hey folks. I’m selling not one, but TWO pairs of SC jeans—1966 (size 32) and 1947 (34). The 66 is brand new (OW) and the 47 was soaked once and BARELY worn but was purchased raw. Both are insanely huge on me now due to weight loss. DM me if you’re interested before I make the sale thread. Posting pics of my old, now-unwearable 1966s so as not to clog up the thread with sale business!

    Sugar Cane Denim

I highly recommend checking out the Sugar Cane website relaunch: www.sugarcane.jp They've put up a ton of background information on various Toyo, Buzz, etc., as well as some articles on the 1947. Really interesting stuff.

The overall shape is much more “rectangular” than the 47, and I’d say the 47s are actually slimmer overall. I have both pairs in the same size and the 66 has more taper below the knee, but the rise is higher and the waist is looser.

Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

Glad to be back! I'm wearing a new pair of jeans again, hence my return. I've just been cycling through old pairs and Buzz chinos for the last few years or so.

I just wanted to say that I'm so, so glad this forum is still alive and kicking. I hadn't logged on in years and figured everyone had moved on to Instragram or Reddit (god forbid), but the same folks are still here! I love it.

What's the fit/fabric difference between the DD-1001XX and the DD-1003XX?

    Warehouse

Hey folks—I haven't posted here in ages and I'm glad to see this forum still kicking. Anyway, I have a decade-old pair of 1001XX jeans that I'd love to approximate with a new pair. Is the DD line my best bet? As far as I can tell, the 1001XX these days is quite slim, and even has a short, 4-

    Loopwheeled/Vintage T-Shirts

I'm surprised that this thread doesn't already exist (if it does, then my apologies), as I figure there's enough people on this board who are as particular about their t-shirts as they are about their denim. Whitesville is my current favorite for t-shirts. They're cut very short, are incredibly soft, and come in 2-packs. Whether or not they're actually loopwheeled I don't know--they're thinner than most loopwheeled t-shirts I've handled. Still, undoubtedly the best t-shirts I own. Very durable. This, I think, is the "offficial" loopwheeled t. Doesn't come in a two-pack, and is very thick and heavy. They also offer more colors, but I find myself wearing the thinner t-shirts more because they're cut shorter. Anyone have any experience with Velva Sheen? *pics to come in the OP*
