  1. Awesome, can't wait to see how those 010s fade.

Kiosk 78 in the UK are having a 20% off sale until midnight on Sunday (UK time).

    The code is PARTY09.

They stock Pure Blue Japan, Warehouse, Skulls, APC and a few others.

  2. i am so f§$%&?#$ f&%$§?+$ worried :(

Don't worry about it dude, at the worst all you'll need to do is wait an extra week or two for the proper fit ;).

But with what you've said I think the XXL might give you a good, if *slightly* baggy fit.

Post pics as soon as you receive it and get some feedback before you decide to soak it or send it back.

  3. lets hope its not! i am 6'2 and 200lbs. - I should be able to fill that cpo.

if aries is a 42" chest and a xl works perfect for him (i want to wear my cpo same way he does), i should be good with a xxl, since i am a 44" chest.

Thanks for the compliment, and not that I want to extend your anxiety further Turntabloid, but I'm also 6'2 and only a few pounds less ;).

Perhaps you have longer arms than me though, and if you're genuinely a 44" chest, it should be fine. I'll have my fingers crossed mate!

  4. did anybody make experiences with wearing the cpo with light colored pants - are they getting blue over time?

I've worn with light coloured tees underneath and they get blue on them quite often. I'd think with light trousers there'd be less problems, as the bottom of the CPO only lightly brushes against your jeans in my experience, not continually rubbing like the upper half.

  5. Here's a question for you experienced boot wearers.

My Alden cordovans have developed creases just before the toe cap as so:

Now this is perfectly normal I'm aware. The problem is after wearing for a while the creases begin to rub against the top of my foot (just behind the toes).

Has anyone else experienced similar? Does it go away (soften up) after wearing, or is there any remedy?

  6. I think I've actually got a much simpler solution for boots.

I've just tried lacing up the boot, and crossing over once, I've went *under* the tongue, then coming back *over* the tongue as usual. So as you can imagine, the tongue is now held in place by the lace.

Seems to be working fine thus far.

edit: This is best with flat laces as you can't even feel it; obviously with chunky laces this might be uncomfortable.

  7. Here's a question chaps. With my Aldens, and I've noticed with a few other boots and trainers, the tongue has a tendency to shift noticeably towards the insole.

This was most noticeable I remember on a pair of Converse I used to wear a few years ago, where the tongue would pull inwards so much my socks would show under the laces on the outsole side.

Anyone know why this is? Remedies?

  8. I also agree that the leg opening is a little big. The cut almost looks like a slight boot cut (with the knees being slightly narrower than the leg opening / at least in the larger size).

I think it's been said, but the jean is a straight leg. The leg opening only seems bigger because the denim folds in on the back of your knee over time, making the opening appear bigger.

    Either way, size down 1.
