Is there a difference in size between 19cm Diors and the black version?
I wear a sz. 30 in blue and am lookin to pick up a pair of blacks... thanks.
Black's run slightly smaller I think and they tend not to stretch as much

^They shouldnt really shrink much at all. If you gave them a hot soak though then it's definitely possible to get further shrinkage out of them. I wouln't think it would be considerable though

Quick question guys.
I have a pair of raw blacks that have not been soaked or washed. Been wearing them for quite some time now and have some pretty strong creases already but since I live out in the desert, my legs get pretty sweaty so my pants could be dirty even if they dont smell.
I don't care much about fades, I know these don't fade easy but I would like for them to shrink a bit. Should I shower with them on or soak them in a tub etc...?
Just wash them or soak them in hot water. Dior's are sanforized so they'll only shrink back to the size they were when you bought them and then they're gonna stretch out again once you start wearing them

Those definitely look more on the fake side. Check the tag on the out seam, it should say made in Italy in both French and English I believe. Most fakes usually only say it in English and its good to note that fakes hardly ever get the 38+ inseam correct, at most they are like 36 inches.
Dior's inseams can vary as well. A lot of the time they are less than 38 inches. I've never seen that wash before though, and the stitching does look off. Post some pics of the all the tags.

My true waist is about 29 inches. I usally wear size 28s though, regardless of brand.

My black raws pictured above were from The Grapist. He's a great seller, I've bought a couple things from him. It can take him a week or two to ship though.

Ok so there's a lot of pics of terrible fits so I've been going through the pages of this thread and In my opinion these are some of the examples of guys that not only got the fit right but also wear them right.
This isn't me but I think this guy has the "right" fit on 19cms19cm Raw MIJ11 months, 2 washes worn pretty much everyday.
19cm mij black raw in size 28
figured id post mine... why the fuck not. MII 21cm... seem to fit better than 99% of the 21s ive seen people post tho...Silver Selvage go your same MIJ size, they don't stretch as much but should be fine in my experience.Fit pics for Jeepster, these are my 17.5 mists

size down on more dude and you should be ok.if that picture of your jeans was taken the day u bought ur jeans, u did it wrong altogether. u shouldnt be able to do up the clasp at the very least on ur first day.
took me about 4 days before i could do it up...and it was still freaking tight.
This isn't really the best advice. If everyone adheres to this there's gonna be a lot of people buying jeans that are way too tight for them (something which occurs all too often on here). It's not that simple, there's other factors to consider, especially the guy's build. Dior's are supposed to look boxy, slouchy and unconstructed in the top block. I could do the clasp up on my size 28 raws the first time I put them on. This is what they looked like after 9 months.
The advice about not being able to do the clasp is just one reason why there are so many unflattering pics of Dior's in this thread. The reality is, a lot of guys aren't the right build for them yet they're buying them on advice that they shouldn't be able to do them up anyway. If you have big thighs you shouldn't be wearing Dior's imo, regardless of whether the clasp does up or not.

Dude come on, surely this has been covered enough on here that you can work that out for yourself

I would have sized down, they look too big. I saw the fit on your Monday Off jean, they were quite good. I don't think these are very flattering on you. Just my opinion.

Good fit man, jeans look good

It's good to finally see some pics in this thread again. Great fit cmirsky.
It's a shame a lot of the guys that used to frequent this thread last year don't really post anymore. It'd be interesting to see how their jeans have worn.

I'm just curious. Why are people buying Dior jeans for double the price of APC if the denim quality is the same, and the cut is modeled after the NS and NC?
Dior's have the longer inleg. The stacking is a big part of the Dior aesthetic. That and a lot of people are probably brand whores

anybody knows if there's any places in Australia that stocks Dior Homme MIJ raws?
Only place that does Dior Homme is Assin, but they hardly ever have much stock and their prices are ridiculous. Order them from The Grapist and save yourself some money

I didn't really size down all that much. I wear 28s in most jeans. My actual waist measures 29 though and I'm round 6 foot.

... and some photos which try to illustrate wear (although it's hard to capture with the black raws)

That's cool man.
Anyway, thought it might be time for some update pics, sorry they're not the best photos, had trouble finding good light.

where can i get sugar cane's detergent? btw , what tem when you wash?
Depends where you live. If you live near a shop that sells Sugar Canes then they'll have the detergent I imagine.
As for washing, I don't turn my jeans inside out, I don't think it's necessary. I usually use cold or luke-warm water. Then just hang them to dry. Everyone will have a different process and advice though.

Washing my 19 cm raw MIJs soon, anybody have any washing tips?
What soap, what temp, inside out? Any tips really...
I've used Sugar Cane's denim detergent before and found that to be really good. Just empty the detergent into a washing machine (or bucket if you wanna hand wash) and rinse them with clean water before drying.
There some good info on washing here

I don't understand why so many people post fit pics wearing nothing else but the jeans.
