lmao dont be dumb. if the j47a-gt were to drop this season itll be much more $$$ than 3 years ago.  prices raise every season not to mention all the other positive business moves theyve made between that time. you lot are smart ill let you figure it out :P

Sarcasm is a little hard to see on text

  2. Guys, don't let this restock distract you from the fact that Errolson was in a Porsche ad.

Clearly, all new Acronym products now carry the "VIP Luxury Fee"... their older products lacked that badge, hence why even the classically more expensive Gore-Tex variants were bargains compared to these new Acronym "Ballers-only" pieces.

It was only a matter of time before I gave in. 2018 is the year I turn into an amputee, maybe single kidney too.

Has anyone ever canceled an order from Acronym? I got the J56-s  at the most recent drop but I want to cancel the order. I've emailed them twice but no reply so far.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but buying any Acronym product is akin to joining the Freemasons so no refunds.

It's over for you. Once you're in, you can't get out.

That was insane lol, I thought it was mine when I set the sniper bid for 3k USD...I was too naive

Lol, were you in that bidding war?

His jacket looks deadstock, no stains whatsoever so I was super tempted to buy it too... so I texted my Japanese friend to proxy me but he was like hey, there's some people overseas that are gunning for this jacket too. You sure you still want me to bid?

At that point, I knew the contest was over lmao

Yahoo Auctions really does it well... none of this lowballing shit you see on eBay and Grailed.

Gotta say I think the J64TS-S is one of the strongest pieces by Errolson in recent memory. Feels like a spiritual successor to the EJ4-TS in some ways, but just so many different ways to wear this one. Aggressively Acronym at it's heart and with styling possibilities that echo some of the best by Lang & Raf.

Wow, I didn't know the thumbhole part for the hands could be detached... I thought the zipper was a pocket or something. Acronym made no mention of that and only referenced the sleeves.

I definitely would've pulled the trigger on this if they modeled it like you did.

Could they actually be removed? I'm curious, had some stains on an old veilance jacket but I never got them off.

For 3L yes, and it doesn't remove all of it. It can reduce it but it's still there. For 2L, no.

Not really the same thing. That’s the fault of the backer and not much can be done to prevent it. In his case (and many more these past couple seasons it seems) there are things that just shouldn’t have gotten passed the QA process.

True, that is 100% Acronym's fault for shoddy worksmanship but as far as sweat stains go... at the price point and rarity we're dealing with, you would think the jackets would be impenetrable to stains since they're Gore-Tex Pro Deluxe Plus Ultra

Disappointing discovery on quality of my J58-WS, received today. Put my hand in the left chest pocket only to feel the seam give way and now I have a hole. Will probably take to my local tailor to fix but this is a nuisance I shouldn't have to deal with at this price point...

Just like the sweat stains on your precious $1500+ Gore-Tex jacket that are incredibly difficult to remove (3 days prep time)

me neither but after a phone call with andre yesterday where he confirmed that they got dropped by them I can assure you.

they didn't even put an order for FW because they wasn't informed via subnet mail and the possible order was passed over - sad but true

Wow this makes me irrationally upset, they go way back so this really blows my mind... my first ever purchase from them was during the Glade days and ever since then, I've always bought one piece from them out of tradition.

Edit: Was looking through random receipts and found my 3A-MSOL1 purchase back in 2010... good night, sweet prince

Good stuff. I'm assuming you have a Shopify monitor set up?

I used to before Shopify changed their API limit for traffic/timing out. You can see my old posts from last season. To bypass that, you'd need to rent servers/proxies, which is why the group I wanted to create never came to fruition.

Now I just coded a script that parses variants from these stockists at 1 hour intervals so it detects loading time and out of stock time.

Just posted, sorted chronologically. Idol Brooklyn loaded stock first, ~3 minutes ahead of official drop schedule.

I missed out as a result of spending too much time trying to compare retailers for both their stock and their pricing. I hope upcoming seasons will be exclusive to acrnm.com. That would, for myself at least, make buying new Acronym more enjoyable.

If you're from the US, try your best to avoid acrnm.com, haven, and end-clothing if you're looking for the best prices. If you really MUST order internationally, I've had wonderful experiences with Firmament, Bureau, and HBX.

As an example, the J58-WS is 1040 EUR which is optimistically 1235.95 USD (excluding duties and shipping and the bs PayPal conversion rate)

    US retailers:

    • Saint Alfred: $1288
    • Idol Brooklyn: $1245
    • Hotoveli: $1165
    • Bodega: $1099

acrnm.com is always my last resort. I got better things to do than trying to talk to UPS tinkering with classifcation numbers... s/o @CARLOOA and @Voyager for their help as always

bb has j28? I refreshed and it was oos haha

Yeah BB had it, no S so I didn't bother.

I'll put stock distribution up tonight, I'm still at work, I shouldn't be browsing haha

  14. Lots of misinformation in this thread...

    Bot orders are identified by:

    1) Shipping address from location of IP address

    2) Billing country matching the country from which the order was placed

    3) # of payment attempts

    4) Risk level of internet connection

    5) # of CCs the payments were made with

    Among other obvious reasons...

    17 minutes ago, robbatussin said:

Bot purchases are instantaneous - literally within milliseconds. Bureau Belfast was already sold out in all sizes of the J28 when I was cycling the refresh button at the drop time.

    Negative.

BB went live at 2017-09-20 07:59:34.382 (PST)

Only M and L were in stock.

I'll give a breakdown of stock on all the US retailers if you guys want, just didn't bother with these prices.

I'm just hoping the j28 won't retail for the 2.2k or so that was the japanese price... :/

There is always a 30-60% premium in Japan so no it won't be 2.2k. Expect it to be around $1200-1600 depending on retailer and VAT.

I wish they didn't get rid of the logo on the left armsleeve though...
