  1. It's only 7:30 am, but this certainly qualifies for the stupidest thing I've read so far today, and I've been reading SCOTUS transcripts from yesterday's hearing. So, people are into the aesthetics but not the fashion? Is that like not being a vegetarian, but only eating vegetables?

lol i guess i wasn't clear enough, but i was referring to fashion in a temporal sense - trends that come and go - as many others have been helpful enough to point out.

still, i think it's plausible to be into the aesthetics of a clothing brand without caring for clothes, in particular.. but maybe what i mean is the brand's image rather than the brand's aesthetic, if there's a difference.

iunno this is too semantic and i'm not a philosopher or a designer so i could definitely be using terminology poorly.

glad i made your stupidest list so early in the day - sample size was small. something likely dethroned my statement later on B)

  2. you don't get it. nothing about ACR is "natural". same thing with a lot of what Rocky wears. the fact he manages to make the un-natural look relatively natural is due to his natural confidence. the same confidence that makes him popular in both rap and high fashion circles.

he can wear head to toe because he can afford to. you're delusional if you think people buy and wear ACR solely for dodging some rain. it's fashion.

what does that bolded statement even mean? if anything, you could argue ACR is the most natural brand.

also, i disagree somewhat that "Acronym is fashion". to a lot of people on superfuture, it is. but plenty of hardcore Acronym fans could care less about fashion. of all the top brands currently relevant (if ACR is considered a top brand), i'd be willing to bet more people are into Acronym for the aesthetic and technicality than for the fashion aspect. Acronym will still have a die hard "otaku" fan base even after techwear stops trending on the internet. downplaying the cultural presence behind a brand is how you end up with the Supreme phenomenon. do you think in the early 2000s people rocked Supreme just because it was "fashion"?

    and lastly,

"confidence in style and looks" ≠ good style.

you're kidding yourself if you think that's the reason it looks okay on du (see hypebeast pics and/or worst streetsyle thread for confidence + shitty style) . i don't have a huge problem with what rocky's wearing, but it's nothing to fawn over. ton of people rock ACR better. shit's not THAT hard to wear.

  3. the coaches jacket is the first sup piece i've wanted to buy in over 3 years, does anyone know when measurements come out? i'm 6'1 - not sure if i'd need a M or L. i live in australia, so if anyone's proxying...

no clue when measurements will be out but buy a L.

  4. yo mitcho

i don't think tsujita's ramen is better than their tsukemen on a standardized scale.

like, tsujita's ramen is better than most ramen, but there are some contenders. nobody's even close to fuckin with their tsukemen though.

still, i think their ramen is better than all other ramen in LA (even CA.. probably in the US).

  5. frankly speaking I'm blind bout audio gadget, bought this headphone just because I lost my original iphone headset :P

and yea, seems like I'm the victim of beats' marketing :D

but thanks for the advice, still have 1 week to decide whether to return it and buy something else

    deaf. breh, you're deaf.

Bought a headphone definitely shows that I can hear clearly, BREH

lol i think he's telling you that it's "deaf bout audio", not "blind bout audio".
