  1. cheers mate. I really hope so because there ain't any other store out there stocking a size L of the J47-A GT so this is pretty much my last chance to own some Acronym.

What does pretty baggy look like?

In your opinion, is the bureau belfast https://b37e2a690c47a2f6ed57-3cb151b8083f8d1f7f63333299fd431c.ssl.cf3.rackcdn.com/products/large/809085b9da876809445754570af4a2eb.jpg model wearing it too tight?

so i would say the bureau belfast fit is too slim for me. i often wear a hoodie + interops bag and couldn't fit all of that under a size M. i can maybe upload pictures on saturday (not sure if you'll have the jacket by then, though)

  2. Nice find, thanks for sharing.

I am afraid I am going to be disappointed with the fit. I ordered an M in the J47A-GT and I'm 5'10, 74 kg/165 pounds and based on that model's height/weight, I may not fit in this either. Damn online shopping for acronym! Already had to return my J50-WS.

i'm pretty much the same height/weight. i ordered the 47A in a L and it's pretty baggy (how i want it to fit). depending on how you like your things to fit and how you plan to layer, it may work out

  3. post editor is complete shit right now – please excuse double post.

anyone pick up the j46? measurements seem pretty weird.

the 1/2 chest is bigger than any ACR jacket i've seen. i figure it's due to the insulation making the external 1/2 chest (i.e., pit-to-pit) wider, but wanted to check with folks who actually received the jacket.

did you size down? or true/normal size? i usually go 1 size up from errolson for semi baggy fit (a la: http://www.digital-mountain.net/shopdetail/000000004147/133/O/page1/order/), but want to confirm before blowing money on that size.

    thanks
  4. Hands down, my favorite is the leather.  It's fucking beautiful.  But... theres no way in hell I can swing that kind of money.  I settled for the p15s and the shoes :)

i also really like the leather. did anyone get this in yet? seems like very few merchants picked it up (3 or so?). if anyone ordered, please post fit pictures!

Yeah I can't agree with this at all. There's no way the CH can be mistaken for black except after it's totally dark outside. I got the blazer in CH as well and they can't be paired because the all-blue looks too weird. I'm not really an all-black kind of dude but I've toyed with a kind of regret over not getting the pants in black.

That said, I wear them with greenish faded shirts and darker gray melange stuff a lot and even with a looser black sweatshirt it looks cool. Someone told me "you look like a fucking ninja" in one of these situations and that's pretty much the best compliment you can get while wearing ACR shit, so I'd say the pants are a definite yes, even in CH. They need to be belted but the fit is sick.

agreed that night doesn't look like black. it looks like really dark blue. still think it's quite wearable.

  5. Anyone handle the P10-DS material?  I'm looking for something breathable.  The microtwill and the material used on the P14-CH doesn't breathe as much as I would like for warmer days.

Also if anyone can comment on the gabardine breathability that would be much appreciated as well.

very basic comparison: i've got the p16 in -CH (i believe the same as the p14) and -S, and while the -S is much more breathable than the -CH, it's still pretty warm. probably wouldn't wear above 80 degrees F.

interested in what people think about the -DS, looks like an awesome material.

i really wish, though, that the -ch fabric from the original p15 would come back, as it's way different than the current microtwill. those happen to be my favorite ACR pants when considering fit, comfort (breathable + stretchy), utility (right behind the p16a), and design.

  6. Guys help. So on the acrnm website the J47A-GT pics have the forcelocks placed vertically. All the online websites have the J47A-GT shown with horizontal forcelocks. The non interops J47 has vertical forcelocks consistent on all the websites. Is this a flaw and was the model Errolson is wearing of the J47A-GT one of a kind?

good observation. looks like they changed it from subnet model to production model. also weird that the regular 47 retained vertical forcelocks. eh, whatever though. hopefully it doesn't impact whatever decision you were/are going to make lol.

Am I the only one that never tried "Pack Carry" with their 5ts or 6ts?  That blew my mind.

i carried my 5ts like that when i owned it. handy for a bit, but uneven pressure distribution due to the thin bottom strap makes it kinda annoying. it also shifts the cargo, which may or may not matter to you. it's also a bit annoying that you can't make the thick strap tighter (the buckle hits the angled part of the strap). ultimately, i found it a bit too uneven – both pressure and snugness – that i could only carry like that for a matter of minutes before going to traditional carry

  7. What's the deal with jacketsling on the outside?

The j47 is nice, a bit more practical than my j43. I think the j43 still looks way cooler though.

from what i know, this season's jacketslings can be mounted inside or outside the jacket (as with the GT-J28 a few years ago). the exterior mount configuration reduces the amount of of time the interior (potentially a gore membrane) of the jacket is exposed to the elements. also, it would allow access to the jacket pockets when slinged, but with the introduction of jacketsling compatible pockets, that's not really an issue anymore.

  8. Picked up a pair of ACR AF1's today - will give my opinion when they arrive.

Bit naughty but you only live once!

which ones? the lunar force or the highs posted on the previous page?

  9. That af1 boot looks so good b/c of how excessive it is lmao

    Materials look $$$, I'm copping

i also think they look dope. don't remember seeing anything about general release from the initial instagram post tho – anyone have info?

  10. I wear XL in C.E and ordered a L in the jacket. Compared sizing from some places and found it seems to fit very big compared to other C.E. After what insomnia said I'm worried it will still be too big though haha.

i don't know your body type, but i'm normal to slim build, ~5'10" around 160 lbs. the jacket is pretty long (both arms & body), and the material is pretty rigid (esp for corduroy) so it doesn't really "sit" when zipped.

i personally like the oversized fit. my size L fits more like it does on the model in the pictures here than the models on, say, haven or idol (where the models probably sized down).

  11. hows the sizing? site says size down one but not sure

i agree with sizing down one. i'm an L in most outerwear, XL in most tees (all CE tees, for example). L in flat empty is super baggy on me. only size true if you want really baggy fit

^ Dankeschon. Amongst though, I'm imagining DSM would be the better stocked one? Working with a limited schedule wherein the priority is eating through Tokyo (will ask about the latter in the supertravel thread).

i think B&Y shibuya had the best selection, followed by B&Y harajuku, followed by gr8.

  12. Has anyone had their Union orders ship yet?

i got shipping conf on friday but it's still not in UPS's system

    edit: fyi my order shipped

  13. (1) For anyone interested, I got the s10-c tee in L and it fits me (6'3" 195lb) well but more regular sized than oversized.

hmmm, this is interesting. i also got a L but it fits me regular sized. however, i'm 5'10" and about 165 lbs...

also, did anyone order the s10-c through subnet? the measurements on subnet were a bit larger than the current ones on acrnm.com – wondering what happened to the people that ordered XLs (subnet: 65cm 1/2 chest, acrnm.com: 63.5cm 1/2 chest)

  14. Hey,

Anyone have pics of someone wearing the 3a-6ts?  Looking to buy one and I am having a hard time visualizing how big it will look when I wear it.

    thanks a lot!

  15. damn you to whoever bought that j28-e on grailed (and lmk if it doesn't fit ^_^

out of curiosity – anyone know what the 28-e retailed for? i remember GT was ~950 euros inc VAT, don't remember -e though.

  16. They still had a brick and mortar shop last time I was in Tokyo (~5 months ago), but it was incredibly difficult to find. Also, they did not even have any of their Acronym inventory in the store when I stopped in. Stored in a warehouse offsite.

gotcha, thanks for the info. probably good i just gave up and kept on with my day then.

  17. maybe your small was a display/hold/return - could explain why it was mislabeled inventory. all the acronym items i've ordered from Union have come with the proper packaging.

also, i tried to go to benchtyo brick + mortar, but couldn't find it for the life of me. maybe they're just a web retailer now? additionally, Beauty + Youth flagship (harajuku) is now an Acronym dealer for those in tokyo
