My old sanforised evisu denim shrunk about an inch in the waist, after maybe 20 or so washes at 30 degress. (This was when I had little knowledge about denim).

Woah, nice pick up!
How's the denim in comparison to No.1s
0 -
That's some off key looking fades on that.
They could at least make it look half natural, especially when it cost 3 tons and using No.3 denim.

CTB - Nice bit of arts n craft there
Warakia - Anymore pics of your 0005's ?
Re. No.1 or No.2, this has cropped up before on this thread.
If you got the money (and don't need it for anything else) get No.1s. Otherwise you may get No.2, then down the line be wondering what if...
It's difficult to justify the huge price difference, but it is the Number 1 denim!
My sizing for No.1s 2000:
TTS, if your skinny (plus stretching whilst wet)
+1 for slim fit (plus stretching whilst wet)
+2 for normal/regular straight.

painted Daicock, I reckon.

Nice, thats pretty much the same thing that i've got. Do you have any updated pics of them faded?
Nah, only worn them a handful of times. They're a bit too tight especially when sitting down - I need to stop eating all the pies!
Besides I'm mainly wearing No.1 and the No.3 (d85)

I'm guessing the the denim fabric is japanese, but put together in macau.
My 3 items from the deluxe line appear to be sanforized, and I believe they all are (somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

Nice pick up Freezie, and liking the blue gulls. Just think how they'll look when they've cracked and chipped away a bit.

^ Fair enough. Any fit pics of the one that you're keeping.

Blacktocomm, wtf! 4pairs at once ? Now that's an impulse buy...
Just wondering, a MIJ No.1 dont appeal to you?

Yeah dont they look so good!
Always preferred that type of stitching before they changed it.
My 2nd pair of evisus lot 0331, back in 2003?

Have you since soaked or hot washed them? How are their fits now?
2000s shrink a lot more in the waist (at least if you hot wash them, my 2000s never shrunk much in the waist even after 3 soaks, so I tried a hot wash and got a lot of shrinkage from that) so curious which ended up being slimmer or tighter (both post-shrinkage and after half a year of wear). Curious about inseams, too, since they look pretty similar there. My 2000s went from 36 or whatever to about 34, so curious what the 39 inseam on 710s went to (i'm tall and like stacking, so that's part of the 710 appeal as well).
Both were initially hot-soaked, and since they've been machine washed on a "Hand Wash setting" - a gentle warm wash I guess. They shrunk a bit, but I soon stretched them back after a bit of wear.
They both still fit quite snug on me - same as pic, the 710 feels a bit slimmer.
I had the 710 hemmed to 35 or 34 - so the length is simiar to 2000s.
Note that I'm only 5'7" and have biggish thighs. Keep in mind that the 710x2nd is 15oz texas cotton.

Edit: Anyone here own Evisu 2000s by chance, actually. And got 710s too... My 2000s are TTS, size 34 (waist shrunk to 16), about an 8 leg opening. Hoping for 15.5 waist 7.25, maybe 7.5 on my Sams (closer to a TTS fit on APC New Standards). If someone had some sized down 710s and TTS Evisu 2000s and could comment, that'd be amazing.
This may help.

The upper block is a snug fit for me, and have cold washed it 2 or 3 times so far.
Most cases you should size up 2 - unless you want to chance it with the washing, and or have slim build.
Also Japan No.1 may not necessarliy have same sizing as other raw evisus.
