When you change currency to USD it goes up. 1101 are $308.  I feel like it use to be about $190 

Prices went up on Bears site… looks like $300+ for a new pair everywhere now. 

Can someone point me the way to a Japanese vendor that ship to the US?

I find the the 66 to be more generous in the waist and thighs but more tapered below then knee where the 47s run very small in the waist and seat area. I wear a 34 in the 66’s and they’re perfect for me. I’d definitely take a 36 in the 47s. 

Are the 50’s wildly undersized in the waist? On TCB’s site it says a tagged 36 has a 32” waist. Is that right?

Anybody with Buzz Rickson jeans familiar if OW was shrinks much more after washes? These WW2 models in a tagged 36 measure about 33 at the waist. I’m on the fence with keeping them.

What’s the waist like on the 55’s? Are they a little smaller than tagged? I find the 47’s in a 34 to be tight while the 34 in the 66’s are looser and more comfortable (tho the rise is higher so that prob helps.)

Anybody have any experience with their “government issue” t shirts? What’s the shrinkage, fit and weight like?

Any Japan sites have Whitesville tees in stock atm or did The Bear clear our stock from every site??

Raw??

Gave my 66’s their first wash. In cold water with no spin. Air dry. They shrunk up all over but in a good way. Inseam shrank maybe .75”. 

Any Belgian Shoes fans on here? Been toying with the idea of a pair.

I wonder what happened? I emailed Hinoya and they hadn’t heard of anything like that. Same with Self Edge. Did they only shrink up in length or did they shrink all over as well? 

I just dropped my pair off at self edge today for a hem. Hopefully they haven’t started and I can grab them back tomorrow and give the jeans another wash. 

Yiiiikes. I hope that was a fluke! I’ve never experienced anything like that before.  

Got my 66’s from Hinoya today. Lighting fast shipping. These are the most perfect fitting jeans I think I’ve purchased in a loooong time. Now comes the tough decision of deciding on an inseam length.

I did check the Sizing Chart and this is why I must have thought the 54BB would fit me.

The BB has the identical dimensions to the Lot 44 and I can wear the Lot 44.

I sure do like the rear pocket stitching (arcuate) of the MF’s and really admire Christophe and his annual themes of Americana. 

I visited the shop and tried on some different jeans in my same SC size and was def muffin topping in them. Could barley button them. Went up a size and they were too big in the top block so I ended up passing. Such a shame.
