B/d is the width marking. Standard width. Google the model number from the stamp and you’ll be able to find all the specs. This is a useful resource: www.aldenmodelproject.com
That’s a fantastic link. Thanks!

Thanks for the two helpful replies! So I’m looking at a pair of Norwegian front bluchers. The Shoe Mart says they’re on the Aberdeen last but the listing says they’re on the Barrie last. Maybe the seller is mistaken? Do either of you have experience with the NST?
The inside is stamped with a B/D. What does that mean in terms of width??0 -
I’ve never own Aldens before, do they tend to run big? I’m a true 10.5 in most shoes. I’ve got my eyes on a pair on eBay rn but have been burned by purchasing shoes online a lot recently. Can’t get the sizing right.

Scored some 47’s at the rose bowl today for $50. Looks like someone wore them for 6 months and washed them once. Still very dark. Nice cut on these. VERY slim compared to a sugar cane 47 in the same size.

Back in my younger and skinnier days I was squeezing into the 710s in a 34 (now on grailed fyi *wink*.) I can actually still fit them up my legs but they’re painted on and I wouldn’t be able to move (think Kramer in the tight jeans episode.)
Now that I have a more “manly” (fatter) body frame I’m contemplating if a 36 will work.
I do have 13” thighs so not sure. I think a 38 would be giant in the waist.

Paraboot Michael owners: Did you go TTS or size down a half size? Everywhere I read said to size down half size and I did. My toes don’t hit right at the end of the shoe but they’re close. Heal definitely can feel loose so I can’t even imagine going TTS. Only issue I have is the toe box on one foot is tight but mostly from the top. Do these take a while to break in?

Random quesion/reflection: What is it about the cut of the 47’s specifically that make the crotch feel tight? (Joking aside.)
I’m trying to pinpoint why I’ve never been comfortable in my 47’s? The crotch is too tight but the thighs are loose and the waits is loose. Is it the tapered hips? The rise? I can’t put my finger on it.

The denim site says a 34 on the 66’s has a 10.8” front rise. That’s quite low! Are they not including the waistband?

Anybody have a pair of Kleman’s? Do they run small? Their chart shows that a EU 43 is a US 9.5 when normally it would be a US 10.

I need Paraboot sizing help. Been eyeing the Chambord in black for a while but will realistically have to order online without trying them on.

Pulled the trigger on some 505’s. Time to obsessively refresh my email to see when they ship!

What’s the info on these? Are these just the regular 66’s? There’s no size chat or info.

Has anybody ordered through the Denime site? Do they ship to the US? I’d love to add a pair of the regular 66’s to my collection and there’s no more Rakuten.

Those of you who bought the one-washed 50’s. Did you get anymore shrinkage from the inseam?

Is the SC 66 cut the same as Mister Freedom’s 64??
