  1. fit looks good ^^. the stacks have settled down nicely, dont worry about them if you want to hem another some just wait after a couple of washes. i'd go with longer inseams anyday then having a cropped pants after wash..

  2. I thought I'd post up the latest measurement of my Devils fit 666S for sizing reference.

This is after one initial hot soak (pre wear), one boiling hot soak( pre wear), and machine wash at 40c ( after 2 weeks wear) :

    BIG style

    Waist: 31.5"

    Thigh : 11.4"

    Hem : 7.8"

    Inseam : new at 36" --> current at 34.6"

I think most of the shrinkage has gone by now..

  3. whats a good place to pick up a nice leather wallet that I can watch change color over time?

Don't have too much money and When I was checking out flathead, IH, and other SE wallets, I cried a little. Anywhere to pick up something like that for cheaper?

i definitely vouch for Angelos Leather . Their work and product are top notch, I cant recommend them enough.

Hit Chris up with an email, he usually quite quick at replying

    Wallet ranges around $150...

and also not forgetting the good people at Obbigood, Corter and other craftmen who actively contribute to this thread...

  4. deadendpro speaks the truth.. at this time where we are all spoit by choice, it goes back to the basic question on what you really want fit/ type of denim etc..

so folks want their jeans to fade slow, some want theirs to fade with high contrast...what i love with the options with have right now is that we basically have everything for everyone..its a matter of knowing what you really want...

momotaro/somet take time to show apparent fading but they fade with relatively high contrast too

  5. nothing much going on my pair since ive only worn them sparingly since i got them...but they were on quite afew times last december during summer here downunder.. total wear maybe give and take 3-4 weeks..

its hard to describe the denim on these...they feel like warehouse in term of softness and hairiness but they also have some characteristic of cone in terms of even weave (not slubby) and the lightness of the fabric...

the colour is less dark than lvc...more often than not they have this metallic shade of blue...

  6. all the flathead evos looking really good.

I kinda wanna get myself a pair, but worried about how 14oz denim fares vs IH's 21oz. Anyone with both care to share?

16oz fh is pretty thick and rough if you want some heavy fh..

  7. it depends on what you really want.. from past experience, ive done afew mods and alterations to my jeans, for a short period it gave me a sense of satisfaction of not losing money trying to sell the jeans that do not fit me the way i wanted. but after awhile, in a long run, i regretted it. the jeans are now altered and if let say i dont feel like wearing them anymore, it would be hard to sell the jeans and I would be left out with jeans that i hate keeping and no body wants them either..

so i you decide to taper them its okay if you really plan to wear them for a long time and it would be good if you can fit a tailor that really know their business..

another option is sell the BB and why not get some 301S ? they have the same flagship denim

or just keep the BB and shop for other jeans that fit you properly...you can use the BB for the times that you feel the need for some jeans with bigger leg opening.. so yeah
