yeah...imho the thigh will stretch but they wil shrink back again after wash and after afew washes they wont stretch that much...best to wash them cold everytime with delicate/handwash mode...

maybe they appeal less to some people but the last 3 pictures really got me hunting for some sc black belt

But other than the grain being more defined and the odd bit of scratches in the short-term, I don't see the black leather changing in any dramatic way.

SG's belts are made by Kawatako using Italian saddle leather, IIRC.

I had the same opinion on black belt until I saw a sugarcane belt posted on this thread awhile back... the black leather on SC does age very beautifully...

I also think its an individual thing... i just find it bit misleading when people say FH has lightning fast ability to fade.. i agree FH has more contrast fade since they started off very dark.. same as eternal..but not that you wear them for couple of months then they are faded already..

my Warehouse fades faster than my FH..take that inazuma a page back work for 17months and compare to Snake's 8-month old Warehouse in Warehouse thread..how can you compare those two?

.it all depends on the individual I guess when you are talking about how fast they fade...

FH has more contrast in fading but i dont agree they are fade fast...

Does anyone who have both pairs, or have handled both, care to comment on the differences in denim/fit/construct?

I own the 2009 /47' type II jeans.. they are definitely a slim straight cut while 47 is a repro cut..
