ok. i understood that but is the stretch significant? when you say over time does that refer to say a year of wearing these black washed selvage APCs for a stretch of 0.5-1 inch or what? raw indigos stretch up to like 3-3.5 or even 4 inches over 1-2 years of constant wear.

Im saying relative to the indigos how much do the washed black ones stretch? Im a 27 in indigos and needed them to stretch say 0.5-1 inch to wear it comfortably. Would i be a 27 or a 28 in washed black selvages?

it wont take 1-2 years for them to stretch out. try like, 2 weeks to a month. but you have to wear them. and i'm pretty sure the black NS dont stretch as much as the indigos though.

also, i would say "read the thread.. all the info is in there" but after looking through a few pages i see why one may be discouraged.

cheap Gap black overdyed jacket. It had that waffle/thermal lining shit on the inside but it was more of a nuisance than warm, so i ripped it, and the label/tags out of it. one wash so far, but its getting smelly from shows and drunkenness and whatnot. i'm turning it into my patch jacket. i've got a few more patches i've been procrastinating putting on, and there will always be room for more.

to give you an idea of the fading going on, its really hard to capture with my cell camera though. the blue is just barely starting to peak through.

I wish i could tell you something new. daniel will be back today (dunno when exactly) and i hope i can get some new information about a possible start date.

Well all of my other pants, with the exception of the Carhartts i recently purchased, are nearing imminent crotchsplosion. plus, i'd just really enjoy a fresh pair to wear. but if were going to start in a month or less or something, why would i buy a pair of APCs when i could just wait haha

no, but once the starchy stiffness is gone it should be fine. that double cuff earlier would look fine though with the right shoes/boots. in my opinion
