I had visions of this really complicated beet/orange/quail dish but it didnt work out, and I just ended up feeling cranky and eating a HUGE bowl of buttered, roasted beets with feta for dinner. Also now I have like, 5 roasted quails in the fridge...and half a pan of beets still Why did I buy so many :/

Maybe I can save it and make some sort of smoked borscht but I dunno

my mom mentioned today that I should make more effort to hang out with my brother before he goes away for the summer because he missed me when i was at school and I am out a lot since I got back.

turns out he actually only misses the car, which I often have. bummer.

edit: he just yelled at me after finding an empty oatmeal bowl in the back seat (lol), remnants of my mom'e breakfast yesterday when she was running late...

I can't file my goddamn taxes because I don't have any of my investment income statements. Last year my dad had them and gave them to me but this year he apparently doesn't and no one seems to know where they are. I WANT MY RETURN, ALREADY. aughguhgughughguhg
