X-post.
since november.
no wash.
wow, really defined ass whiskers. I like the sudlety, looks like they'll turn out real nice.
also, what are the jeans you are wearing while showcasing the warehouses? I'm always curious about that in peoples pictures...

has anyone tried academi denim before are they worth the price or should i get apc ns
I've only tried a pair on, so don't know what their stretching capabilities are or what they're like over time, but the initial fit was not good. Way too baggy in the knees and thighs and too tight in the crotch. Of course, I only tried on the grays, not the indigos, which I've heard are different.

Nice! That'll be sure to add some character. Is it mostly sheet rock that's gonna wash out?

holla, is that a rogues gallery belt in the 2nd pic?

Belts

I've never heard of a "quick release" belt until now. What's its purpose? In case you're in a bathroom rush??? lol

sorry, my bad. totally missed that.

What makes it obvious that you used starch? Is it actually visible in a photo?

I'll get real post-wash pictures (like me not wearing them) later.
I think you mean (like them not being worn). Unless of course you're underwear is equally worth being shown.

That last pic is prrrrfect! That's exactly how jeans should fit.

Personally, I've always liked the idea of fashion designers being more minimalst than the models wearing their clothes on the run way (plain jeans and a white t shirt). But it does make sense that girls are more hygienically judged than boys at least.

Do you have pictures?

They even have the pin on the belt loop still!

Why don't you get some raws and wash them a few times yourself at the beginning so they're softer? That way they'll still get some decent fading and aren't predistressed.

Sorry, I just realized my question is pointless since they're sold out on BiG. But my computer's not letting me delete my post, so... that's all.

Does anyone know if these stretch out at all? The price is good. Is there a reason why it's so low, though.

Thanks for the info. I'm going through Boston next month so I'll probably check it out. I'm definitely more interested in the simpler models so that's good to know. Wasn't sure since I know they carry a lot of crappy designer brands in addition to Evisu and Nudie.

Planet Mental, are you familiar with what Riccardi's on Newbury has in the way of Evisu? The last two times I've gone through Boston they've been closed.

Yeah, that's true. If anything they should have upped the quality.
Of course you're not buying them all the time so it doesn't matter like it would for rent you're paying every single month.

I have both the older and new versions, and besides the two points you mentioned I find them pretty much the same in quality. I don't mind the different tag inside, but I definitely prefer the older button.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, and I'm sure it is, but what kind of sneakers are these? Are they keds?
Thanks.

ehhhh i gotta decide tonight if i want a free pair from my bro...cant decide.
If he's willing to give you a pair for free... why not?!? Of course, I'm selfish that way.
Also, I admit I know nothing about samurais but I for one like black jeans and think it's always a good idea to switch things up every now and then.

I want knee fades so if I fall off my bicycle to get them is that cheating???
No, that's just being a klutz!

I know it sounds juvenile, but still... eh, whatever. You're all right. The whole attraction to raw denim is the differences between everyone's pairs.

Right... I get that. But by the time the denim is soft enough, isn't it too late to get good stacking fades?
I admit, it's likely that the denim will "settle" on it's own fairly quickly (at least sooner than any noticeable fading would occur) but I feel the way it settles never looks as clean and uniformed as jacoBUH_x's imperials. SO, my question in the end: Is it CHEATING to 'arrange' your stacks?

Is that the same as stacking?
