  1. I am not really looking to break in any more raws at this point. Already did some Marc Jacobs Wranglers and Nudie thin finn. Hoping to pick up the Shaded Off I talked about buying up thread, just a size larger, but I think they are F/W 08.

bought a pair of those in 28 on ebay

it seems he has a 29 and 30 if one of those would work for you.. kinda pricey tho; i paid $295 for mine and he raised the price on the next auction, although best offer is now available

  2. i thought they were like apcs and so no need to soak.
theyre sanforized, but soaking them initially takes off the excess starch/dye and the minimal shrinkage b4 you wear them.

  3. I think the "shifting" he was referring to was the actual shrinking of the jeans. If you get raw, even with sanforized denim, the creases will shift after the first wash.

Kiya literally meant that the one-wash process that skull uses destroys the jeans. The people that have had problems with threads breaking/seams ripping prematurely all bought the one-wash model.

  4. Thanks for all the valuable comments...

the problem is that i couldn't get to try it in person, so i need help on the sizing.

as sizing 3 down seems not ok to me...

i want to wear it tight but not skin tight.

so i guess sizing down 1 or 2 is ok right?

im a 29 true waist, i got a size 28 in the 018's. they are a little loose in the waist at 31" since i measure about 30.5" where the jeans sit; however, they are pretty much skin tight as of now. i have a little room in the thighs but they are tight as hell around my calfs

  5. I think you misunderstood me, I can only button up the last button.

So I only button up 1 button not three button.

sz 28 fits below the knee, but I'd want more room on the thigh area.

btw, is APC NS indigo suppose to look like black jean when you first got it?

ah yeah. according to the measurement chart on context, the 30 NC will have the same fit from the knee down as the 28 NS.

and all the indigo APC's are a very dark blue when new

  6. I really like APC NS's tapered but not slim fit. However, I ordered sz 28 and it doesn't fit. (I got to button up the last button, the 4th one) But the fit under the knee is perfect.

So I am wondering am I a good fit to wear sz 29 APC NS? or should I go for sz 30 APC NC?

Would they be the correct sz?

    my measurement

    waist (bellybutton) 30"

waist (actual low-mid rise area) 32-33"

    butt - 38"

    thigh - 22"

yah I do squat :( hahaha...

    I wear sz 30 Diesel Viker...if that's any help.

my 27 NS started around 29" and stretched to a little over 30.5"; if the 28's fit you well everywhere but the waist, just wait it out. you can get 2"+ stretching out of APC's, plus you only have one button that you can't do, many people start off only being able to do one or two buttons and end up with a perfect fit after they stretch out.

  7. It's the discrepancies between vanity and true waist and all that garbage that really confuses me. I'm a 29.25 true waist (above belly button). A tagged PS size 26 measures 28. But I assume that will be the size I need because of the stretching. I wear my jeans low without really sagging far off my ass, where they sit it's about 30-31â€. Would a 26 stretch enough for that, meaning from 28' to 30/31'? I was leaning towards 26, but I'm just worried my thighs are going to go numb and that I'll no longer be able to reproduce.

As you can tell, I have chronic indecision about pretty inconsequential things. Anyways, I'm buying a pair tomorrow morning so I'll stop nagging the thread now.

my size 27 NS stretched out to 30.5" after about a month of wear
