A title quite apt for the weather in the UK today.......

Some will be fine half size down on the 60's, especially if they have a bit of room on their regular Chucks/70's
Think I just put comfort first these days. Also I tend to wear sneakers all year round so need to be able to wear with chunkier socks.

I nearly bought some of those 60's Converse.. but the sizing freaked me out, are the a size bigger than regular Chucks or a size smaller.. can't quite remember, i like them a lot!
They run a little bit bigger than the Chuck 70's and have a wider toe box. I find them more comfortable than the 70's. I'm a 10 in Vans and got a 10 in the 60's and they're fine, fit almost like a 10.25 :-) I've found my recent 70's barely a 10, fine for summer with thin socks but I would probably need to size up in the 70's to 10.5 for non summer.

Have had many jeans over the years but I'll always have a soft spot for the early Valencia Street 555 stuff. What followed I thought was never quite the same in look and feel. I still remember being excited popping down to London's American Classics on the Kings Rd to pick up my first pair of 55's. Used and abused several pairs in the late 90's early 00's. Thankfully I've managed to pick up 3 pairs over the last 10 years at decent prices which I wear very sparingly as replacing them would be difficult and expensive. The 55's fit spot on. The 47's needed a hot wash and a blast in the tumble dryer. The 44's need a belt but I prefer them slightly relaxed. Have some great other Japanese jeans that tick all the boxes but my 555 55's,44's & 47's will always be special to me.....

There's been some great stuff for sale on here, maybe not enough people outside of regulars checking it out ?
@Double 0 Soul My eBay experiences have been on the whole fairly good though I also had a problem with click & collect from my local Sainsburys/argos. Item of clothing I bought arrived at Sainsbury's and was signed for by what turned out to be an unrecognised staff signature, item never was found which was gutting as it was not exactly something I could easily replace. The seller had used Royal Mail and two thirds of the cost was covered by the postage insurance which the seller passed on to me which seemed more than fair with me as he'd lost out more. Haven't used click and collect on any purchases since, recent one was a lovely FW piece from @Duke Mantee and I sure as hell didn't want that to go missing

The difference — is the product good or is it all marketing?
For years a large amount of people have held CSF products in high regard. People who you’d think know their stuff, who love vintage and repro
So Konaka’s douchebaggery aside, instead of unverified burner accounts claiming the product is subpar and people clapping and going with it because they believe he’s a douche (which we all seem to agree on), maybe he’s just a douche?
The product can still be good and you can still not want it for good reason (douche)
Like DS said, continue to wear the stuff if you please, just know how he treats people in his community

Sums up my thinking on the matter
