  1. I didn't buy this myself, bought it from someone and considering the rarity it's not like anyone would let it go for cheap - add paypal's shitty exchange rates and that's roughly how much I paid, give or take a bit. No, I didn't plan to resell, simply other things are wanted more and I need to fund my purchases through this sale.

I'm open to offers as long as they're not stupid.

  2. went to FIL tokyo today for the 1st time and was pretty disappointed by the shop itself : Sendai one looks way better, also the staff was a bit arrogant and not very friendly.

    Really?

I've had nothing but pleasant conversations with the dudes there. Chatted with a few of the staff for quite a while about things other than Vis, they've helped get me proddy from other FIL stores if it was sold out there, shit they even let me shop for an hour and half after closing time despite me telling them multiple times that I could come the next day.

I've been to most FIL stores (granted I wasn't able to make the trek to Sendai) but Tokyo's been my favourite for the staff alone.

  4. Herp's right, most of the time the NEX goes to Shinagawa or Tokyo, still much easier than the Limousine Bus. I took the Limo Bus the first time I visited and will absolutely never take it again.

Malaujai - grab the Suica + NEX deal when you arrive at Narita - ¥5,500 get you a return ticket on the NEX plus a ¥2,000 Suica card (¥500 is the deposit price and the ¥1,500 is your actual credit).

  5. Also can't believe there was 9 pairs of Grizzlys made for us size 11s - maybe 9 pairs at FIL Tokyo.

    What was retail btw?

Gonna try my luck next week as I pass through each of the FIL's in Japan; will be quite sad if I can't find any in 11.

  6. Just tracked down and purchased what FIL Tokyo said is the "only pair" of light brown size 11 grizzly boots in Japan. Thanks Ruco, and sharp service!

Hope to god that's not the case, i'm in Japan under 2 weeks and was after a pair….hoping I get mad lucky and find a size 12 or 11 somewhere. On a side note i'll be visiting every FIL store on my trip.

  7. It's about 20 min train ride from Shinjuku station plus around 10 minutes to walk there, should only take 5 mins to walk back once you know your way. If you want any rare / highly sort after Supreme/NBHD/Bape/Wtaps etc pieces then its well worth the trip. They've got an entire floor for jackets.

Otherwise for denim hit up Ueno, more specifically Hinoya and Americaya

  8. F.I.L. is the name of Visvim's retail stores.

If you're interested in Stussy there's an installation at Parco Department store(Building 3) in Shibuya. No idea if the product will be different from the flagship store.

Try PX Megastore if you have the time, not exactly the easiest place to find though but can be very much worth it. Go to Shinjuku station and catch the Chuo Line to Ogikubo Station and take the North exit. Get onto the main road, cross it and walk left. PX is on the right side of the road (which you should be on) and just keep walking straight. You'll eventually see it and the signs. Also there is a PX Station which is just off a little side street, mostly sneakers there though. Keep in mind though you'll need at least an hour here, there's a LOT of gear to go through.

  9. Basically everything herp said is spot on.

Swagger is where the old BBC/Bape store used to be - on the same street as NBHD and Supreme. Heatwave in Harajuku is fairly hit and miss but mostly miss, the physical store doesn't actually have that much. Try Fool's Judge which is once again on the same street as Supreme; the store is down a set of stairs so keep your eyes peeled for the sign.

Also keep in mind FIL is down some stairs too, can be missed also if you don't keep your eyes open.

Yes trains are the best option to get around, constant use of taxis will cost you a small fortune.
