  1. For the 1947 LVC 501s:

From this thread I see that you are supposed to buy them +2 sizes from your normal size. Is this your normal vanity size or normal true size?

A well fitting pair of jeans I own measures 17, should I get a 35 sized pair 1947? It'll shrink to 33 and then stretch to 34 for the final size.

Sorry this Shrinking business is very confusing ;)

I usually wear a 31, I bought a 31 in my '47 LVC because I wanted a slim fit- it's actually still not as slim as I'd like still, but the waist is perfect. I would be extremely disappointed with the fit if I had sized up even one.

I know that the 501's are generally straight fit, but are there models of LVC that fit any slimmer? I was looking at maybe the '47s?

The '66 are slim and for 501, the 1947's are the slimmest.

  2. hahahahah, hope you like shitty weather and ugly people who haven't washed in weeks!

I lived there for 12 years, the only upside of portland is the food/drink, so be sure to enjoy that. Andina is a must-go-to restaurant serving peruvian food, go there and order off the tapas menu, be sure to drink the sachsayhuaman (sexywoman) habinero infused vodka w/ passionfruit, it's amazing. Other than that, Wildwood, Blue Hour, and a few other places are stand-outs.

  3. I will save you a spot next to me in hell Eason. That is a pretty steezy move though, how'd you pull the switch off? I am a pussy when it comes to breaking up with girls, I just stop returning texts and phone calls, until they come at me really angry 2 weeks later and break up with me. I don't feel too guilty though, so it's a bad habit I can't stop.

Well, my (at the time) gf was visiting and introduced me to her friends, and told me to please help her friend find a BF because she's lonely here. So, I did. The whole thing was pretty terrible and twisted though, I officially broke up with her for seperate reasons (she wanted to get married, my life would have been over, I would have wished I dated other girls, etc) but this gf seems similiar in the same ways. The ex was much better (and more giving) in bed too. :( Karma.

Breaking up with somebody you've been together with for so long, whom you've done everything with, is like cutting a piece of yourself away. It's slow, agonizingly painful, there'll be tears, and you'll always think and dream of your little missing appendage, no matter how much you try and forget.
