  1. Nice selection, Lendo, wish I could rep.

Dolphy is one steezy mother generally. There are some great ones of him that I've always liked. Particularly:

(I'm pretty sure this one has been posted in this thread already)

    And this album cover:

  2. what's your type of frame?

are the our legacy really all that slim? it's a mixed bag from the photos i've looked at.

I feel I'm really too skinny for them to look decent on me. The ones I bought, even though they were the smallest size (xs/44), just looked ridiculous in the thigh/top block. The fit is a classic loose tapered type and would be great for guys who are more of an average to larger build. Do note, however, that the waist is higher than most modern trousers; like I said, the fit is a classic one.

  3. Two come immediately to mind.

The first wasn't too bad really, it was just ridiculously boring; I had to walk around delivering flyers door to door. I'd usually just put my Ipod on to alleviate the boredom, and the pay wasn't bad, but it was a bit shitty when the weather was bad/I couldn't be arsed to walk around for extended periods of time.

The worst however, by far, was working at an absolutely dive of a small town nightclub in the summer just before I went to university. This nightclub was the only place in town open after 1am, and only one of two places open after 11pm, so inevitably everyone would cram themselves in there at the end of the night so it would be packed out. I worked as one of the floor staff along with two or three other guys; our basic duties were glass collecting, restocking the bar, and cleaning. The cleaning was obviously the worst bit. In the main area of the club you'd have to clean up broken glasses and vomit, a task made substantially more difficult by the fact that you're working in near darkness, surrounded by drunk people constantly walking over what you're trying to clean (whether it be glass or vomit) and spreading around.

However, the nuisance/grossness of cleaning that area paled into insignificance when compared to cleaning the toilets. The cubicles were a veritable smorgasbord of bodily fluid: piss, shit, blood, vomit, semen, you name it. It was disgusting. To add insult to injury, it only paid £5 per hour and our only perk was that we were allowed one (ONE!) free drink at the end of the night after the final clean up.

There were a few plus points, but they were few and far between. The guys I worked with were cool to hang out with, which made shifts far more bearable. On the occasion that the bird who worked the cloakroom didn't show up one of us got to work it, which, although not without its annoyances, was definitely cushy by comparison. Also, shifts didn't start until 10pm so I go for a drink or two beforehand.

Other than that, it was a massively shitty job.

  4. So I got my flannel blazer in the post today and I have to say, for the price, it's not bad. The fit is good and true to size; I'm an EU 46 and I got a small. The quality is not bad, not great, but not bad considering the price. The sleeves need taking up an inch, but I often find this to be the case with blazers I get. Picked up a shirt too, again I went for a small which fits well; slim in the body with a decent amount of length.

I'm just waiting for the damn flannel trousers to get put up on the UK site, which incidentally has a small amount of new stock/new products today. I'll probably pick up another shirt when I get the trousers.

  5. I'd also take a look at the Our Legacy chinos. I was pretty impressed with the construction and quality of the fabric. However, I ended up returning mine as the fit just didn't seem to work on my type of frame.

  6. Finally got around to purchasing some stuff as I had classes all day. I was actually surprised that there was still some stuff left at this point. Got the last grey blazer in size S and a shirt. The trousers to match the blazer were out in my size, but hopefully they'll restock them.

  7. I only ordered recentley and it usually takes 6-8 weeks I figure it'll be cold enough by then

as regards fit I wasnt too bothered but body length and sleeve are adjustable when you order you can also add extra details like rollneck or a belt on a cardigan for £4 a go

That's cool that you can ask them for different body/sleeve lengths. More traditional type jumpers usually fit like crap on me; either they are too wide in the body or, if they are slim enough in the body, they're too short in the body/arms. I'd be interest to see your thoughts on the jumper when you get it as I'd consider placing an order with them myself.

Servo, I like that OC one. You're right though, the balloon shaped torso in the OC site pictures would be a concern. It's a shame you can't make out the fit from the Oak pic as the model is dicking around with the neck.

  8. The UK webstore is extremely slow right now.

There's only four +J items up; a staggered online release maybe?

Edit: Wait, an email in my inbox from Uniqlo is titled 'Uniqlo full +J collection online on Thursday'. Hmm.
