Oh man, what the hell? I've just reviewed almost this whole thread and thought I had it down (sizing wise) until I saw this comment. Why were the kings too big (i.e., what aspect of the jean didn't fit properly). What kind of fit were you looking for?

Personally, I'm looking at waist at the moment. The selfedge.com measure for the 31 kings is 31" and its 34 for the 33 dukes. That's quite a difference, no?

The rise was way too big, and I just didn't like the fit. My 33 Dukes fit about the same as 33 Kings in the thighs.

Alright, so I decided to get all nostalgic and buy a Yomega Fireball, and then get something a little better (YoYoJam Speedmaker).

So for me, the Fireball is working so much better. It's more responsive and everything. But the Speedmaker cost like $10 more. Is there anything to do/adjust to make it more responsive? I can't even do the Around the Corner trick on it.

Originally, I had bought Kings in 31s (sized down one) and I had to return them since they were too big. In relation, I bought 33 Dukes (sized up one).

I think you should size down one or two on Kings.

how is the duke fit compared to APC NS? I wear a sz 29 APC and my true waist is sz 31. Judging from the post above, I guess I should get a size 30?

I really love the fit of my APC NS right now. Are the imperials very similar?

I've had ande whall grifters, but those just make my ass and thighs look too big and its not tapered at all. Judging from the duke's hem, I'm guessing it'll be tapered and slim on the thighs too like the APC NS...

anyone have a comparison?

and do these stretch? when i got my sz 29 ns, i couldnt even button them up all the way. to clarify, i just want the APC NS fit but just a higher quality of denim/construction

You sound like you're about my size. I could barely button up a 29 NS but they've stretched quite a bit. Too slim for me though, I sold them and went with a 30.

I wear my jeans a bit straighter and less slim than people on here. I'm more like a 31/32 true waist. I wear a 32 in Kicking Mule 1980, a 32 in Skull 5507, and a 33 in Imperial Duke. Still a slim cut, but not tight.

Dukes are slim as hell. Go with your true waist or size up one. I got the waist taken in an inch by my tailor and they look great.

On my Skull 5507s, I get these "hip flaps". I think it's excess facbric, but I can't see why there would be excess because mine are the right size and fit. I can take pics if necessary.

Otherwise I saw that Cotton Duck recently posted a topic about his Sams having the same problem. It's really annoying to have these, since it makes it look like there's hip flare.

I wear a 33 in Dukes (waist is too big but thighs are prefect), a 32 in Skull 5507, a 31 in a Regular Ralf, and a 30 in APC NS. I like a pretty straight, but slightly slim cut.

iPod it is. Do I go 80 GB Classic or 8 GB Touch? I only have 4 GB of music, but I'm sure that'll expand. I don't mind switching it out every once in awhile though, so storage compacity isn't a huge deal to me.

Nah, we have a thing called Printwise around here and we can print off shit at the library. Printers are just a hassle around here for all the ink and stuff.

I don't have enough time to play Wii/DS/360 or computer games, actually. They're basically collecting dust in my room, haha. I use my digicam a lot at parties and my iPod when I'm not walking with someone around campus.

I do have little 15-45 minute breaks between class that I could use a bigger iPod for or maybe a PSP. I don't know.

I've got $260 in a Best Buy credit, and it's expiring in a week.

The new iPods just came out, and an 80 GB would be an upgrade from my 2 GB Nano. I have to say though, while I use my Nano a lot, I feel like it might be enough. I have to take music on and off of it, but that doesn't really bother me. It would be nice to be able to watch movies though.

A PSP would be awesome for movies, piracy, games, music, etc. I hear they're a bitch to mess with the firmware and stuff though. It'd be cheaper though.

I'm new to dry salvage denim but I recenly brought a pair of black dukes, and I did size down but they are tight as, like I can hardly bent my knees cause its so tight in the thighs and I can hardly fart coz my cheeks are forces together, I just want to ask is this normal? will it loosening up ? if so how long and to wat degree?

I actually sized up on my Dukes and they fit well (besides in the waist, of course). I just wear a belt and they're fine.

This has already been said, but these are going to be a pretty regular fit if you go true to waist, and they'll sit quite low on the hips.

Basically:

2 down--skinny

1 down--slim

true-regular

1 up--too fucking big

This is a good stick, but the Tekken 5 stick that came with the Tekken 5 bundle is probably the best out there. It's basically a Hori Real Arcade Pro with shittier buttons. This one's pretty hard to find though.
