  1. I can't tell from the pics, but are the streaky slacker's made with any contrast stitching? Or is it all same-color stitching?

I can't tell from ande whall's site either.

Maybe if you could get some better quality larger pics of them that would help me decide if these are for me.

    Thanks.

Straight from the Ande Whall site:

DETAILS: 13.5 oz non selvage denim. Dark Indigo blue. 3X1 weave. Ring/ring spun yarn is used to produce this interesting streaky denim that has excellent fading properties. Button fly. Sanforized, less than 3-5% shrinkage. Hidden back pocket rivets. Cherry red & white stripe ticking interior front pocket lining. Grifter/Slacker patch printed in dark brown ink on natural unseeded cotton . AW “Wings†back pocket stitching detail. AW flying jeans design leather patch - dyed with dark brown ink onto thick 3mm natural vege tanned tooling russet. Leather will darken over time, wax or oil may be applied to protect and nourish the leather. Highest quality, super strong core spun thread, 100% cotton wrapped over polyester inner core. Strong thread with excellent cotton fade-ability. Lemon and orange coloured top stitching. Single needle – hand crafted felled yoke, seat and crotch seams. AW woven labels on back pocket and interior waistband.

    Hope that helps.

    Skull 5507XX Size 32

-Worn about 8 months, 3-4 washes, worn by myself. Originally bought them off a SUFU member who wore them for a couple days, claimed they were the raw version (but seemed fairly soft when I got them). Really nice fades though, for anyone looking for a broken in pair. Nice whiskers, pretty intense butt fade, nice looking knees, faint honeycombs, a little bit of hem wear, subtle stacking fades, pretty defined wallet fade and an awesome patch. Bought for $200, selling for $125 shipped--->$100 shipped

    Thigh: 11.75"

    Front Rise: 10"

Ande Whall Streaky Slacker Size 31

-Bought just a few months ago (not exactly sure when) but when Ande did a limited Streaky Slacker run. New fit, a slim but with a slouchy ass. Only 25-30 pairs made. Tried on once, decided they were too tight for my beefy legs. Folds are from shipping and stiffness of the denim, they will even out with wear. Originally paid $180, selling for $140 shipped.

    Waist: 31

    Front Rise: 10.1

    Back Rise: 14.25

    Top thigh: 12

    Mid thigh: 8.9

  3. Please don't kill me, but I don't think I can look through this entire thread for answers.

If I want some 811's, what size should I get if I get if I want a regular but slightly slim fit? My RRDS are more fitted than your generic Abercrombie jeans but baggier than a SUFU fit. I wear a 32 in RRDS and a 30 in APC Rescue. My thighs are pretty big, so yeah...

Skull 5507XX at about a year. Worn for about a good six to eight months, probably 3-4 washes. I had to adjust the color and contrast since it was so bright outside. Definitely represents the amount on contrast but they're slightly too blue in these pics. First picture definitely represents the color best.

  5. Alright guys, I'm taking the dive into Samurai and I'm not exactly sure what to get. I already have a pair of Skull 5507xx and a Nudie Regular Ralf Dry Selvage. Both are 32s. The Nudies fit me pretty slim to my definition--they aren't tight or fitted in the thighs but they're definitely what I'd consider slim. The Skulls fit just a bit slimmer than the Nudies.

I have fairly thick thighs, not HUGE, but I definitely need at least a 12-12.25" thigh to fit me. I'm a fit guy (I wouldn't exactly consider myself skinny since I'm pretty muscular) but I know that I would not look good in something like a Dior 19 cm or a Skull 5010 fit. I really like a slimmer fit than most guys wear with their AE/Hollister/whatever jeans, but I still do not like the SuFu skinny fit.

I'm looking at the S0210XJ, S0110XJ, or a S0500XX. Any advice on what size and what cut I would like best according to what I have?

  6. How much do people size down on the S0110XJ? I'm a 32 in Regular Ralf and a 32 in Skull 5507. The RR fits pretty regular on the slightly slim side and the 5507 fit me slightly slim too. Hardly fitted in the thighs, but still slim.

I'm going to add a few shirts/hoodies soon. I've got a nice Rag&Bone button-up, a drapey slim Hare-esque hoodie, a Steve Alan Button-up, etc. I'll get those up soon. Please ask any questions you have about the jeans for now.
