  1. Even stevens tapered leg.

Yes they do fit big, WAY BIG!

There a 33 waist, i could have done with a 31 waist at the most, im gutted.

I want some sugarcanes but ive heard mixed views, i want a slim fit jean, not skinny.

Thing is, if you buy a slim jean two sizes too big, it's hardly a slim jean anymore. It doesn't even fit like a regular or baggy jean, it just a pair of jeans that fits poorly. It's like buying a 34 in Dior 19 cm when you're a true 30. "They're slim, lolz, just big".

So go buy a pair that fits you well.

  2. Well, I just got these things back from the tailor to get tapered and hemmed since they were dragging on the ground.

Turns out they look awful. The thighs on the jeans are pretty regular but the calves look like they're at Dior 19 cm proportions.

Well, since the guy is a family friend I can't really get pissed :( Any chance I can just get them "untapered" though?

  3. Ok, I normally wear a 32 in most raw jeans. I don't size down because I don't mind wearing a belt or anything, and I like my jeans a little baggier but still slim (just not painted on slim).

If a 29 APC NS was basically painted on me, do I go with a 30 NS or a 29 Rescue?

  4. APC puts a disclaimer on all their jeans, warning you not to wear them out in the rain. I guess some hardcore denimheads in India have melted from wearing them in the monsoons.

  5. I am not familiar with imperial denim but I am looking to get the SeXImperial denim comming out and needed sizing help. The most recent pair of jeans I bought were some A.P.C rescues and I got them in a 30. I am a real skinny guy, any recomendations on what I should look to get for when these release? Or should I look in the dior thread as they are suppose to be a dior cut reproduction?

If you bought a 30 in Rescues, you're probably a 32 or 33. That's pretty average for a normal, skinny male, but for SuFu that's rather large. Chances are this SeXImperial cut will fit ridiculously skinnier than your Rescues. Tapered and tight. Just watch out for that, Rescues are a ridiculously different fit than Diors.

  6. SufuxWarehousexBig Contest Jeans-These have converted me from slim to normal fitting jeans. I don't think I can go back--what a good mistake by buying true to size. Low rise, fit me like a straight leg with my size. Really stiff even after two soaks and a wash. Purple-ish hue, kind of slubby, fades incredibly fast. I had a defined wallet outline within a week.

Skull 5507XX One-wash-My favorite fitting jean so far. Bought them true to size, but they're still quite slim after three washes. Fairly normal rise, slim but not snug in the thighs. Fades quite fast as well, this is by far my favorite blue that comes out in any jean.

  7. you take your shoes off and let them be

    they're just jeans

It always baffles me when people say "They're just jeans". People here spend an average of $150-250 on "just jeans" and then seem not to give a shit it their hems are dragging and rip like crazy or if their crotch rips because they wear them too tight. Never really made sense to me.

  8. i tried on a pair of new cures size 30 (i wear size 29 in ns) and i could button it completely up, the pair was pretty thight around the thighs and everywhere else. do i have to size down??

No way, unless you're going for a skin-tight fit. Those things will stretch to normal slim jeans.

  9. So I just got my pair yesterday, bought an extra pair that Beatle had. Did anyone else have an issue with the inseam on these? I asked for a 34" post soak and after I hot soaked for a few hours and tumble tried for 15 mins I have at most 32". Gordon sent the extra that he took off and it was 3" worth. Does that sound right? I don't know what to do, they are actually a perfect fit in every other way but the inseam which at the moment is barely wearable, but I'm worried if they shrink any more they won't work at all.

Wet them again, and stretch out the inseam by stepping on them and pulling at the top.
