  1. "I do a damn good job, got bitches on my dick like a human sish-kebab!"

    "Straight outta Locash!

    A crazy muthafucka named Gusto,

fucked your wife cuz the bitch is a big ho

fucked ya sister, fucked your cat

Woulda fucked your mama but the bitch was too fat"

Both from the CB4 movie. Mad hektic!

  2. This question is one that gets asked of me repeatedly and each time I think I will have a better answer than the last, but alas, I dont.

Aesthetic relative to personal taste is a very subjective matter and hard to explain, It just like asking why someone prefers AC/DC over Metallica...both similar products but try telling that to one of the fans. Since there are no factual points that could be raised as to why one is superior, the answer you will find invariably will be, "They sound better to me". This is exactly how I feel about design- Whatever looks better to me.

I thought I would take a leaf from Fade to Black2's book and use a quote since he pulled it off so well last time.

Well, huh, might as, might as well ask why is a tree good? Why is the sunset good? Why are boobs good? - Joe Dirt

So asside from art, design, beauty- all of which are appealing in different levels to different people, the beauty of fashion design to me, and what I respond to are garments that are simplistic, clean, and well tailored, whether that be modern or classic cuts. I dont have a favourite designer, but I feel almost every prominent designer has done something good in their career in relation to what I like. When it comes down to it, the things I like will have a somewhat timeless quality, both in construction and design and will outlive trends or fads. Which I guess is why I prefer simplistic design. As we all know though, with fashion you have an extra dimension to play around with and that is fit. So, even the most basic of designs can be altered and exaggerated at the skilled hands of anyone who is well versed in tailoring.

  3. I have been wearing jeans or pants every day for as long as I can remember, when I go drunken swimming I usually just go out in my jocks.

Its mainly because nice fitting shorts are tricky to find. But like jmatsu said shorts appear to be in fashion so that should change soon, or, when I feel like it I can make a pair or DIY sufu shorts from a pair of jeans.

  4. whats wrong with the Incu store???

The staff are snooty and arrogant. Now I will go out of my way to buy the same stuff elsewhere if I can, but certain things like Raf you are limited. I dont think I have ever been acknowledged in Incu TGV and the store aint exactly bustling with customers.

Part of the reason I like calibre so much is that the guys there have always been friendly, they dont have this elitist vibe that Incu people seem to have. I have spent heaps at calibre since and they always remember repeat customers and make them feel welcome.

Saba is also good as far as employee's goes.

  5. The Grapist uses Google Checkout. Pretty faultless system. He is a good guy.

I caved and stopped in at Calibre this evening. Ended up getting a pair of 100% wool flat-fronted suit pants to match my jacket. $300 down to $250. Great feeling pants, makes me want to (god forbid!) give up jeans for a while.

David Jones has some nice Filippa K raw black jeans for $250. There is a 30x36 still there if anyone is interested. Very similiar in material and construction to my 19cm black diors, cant comment on the fit though cause I take about a 32 waist typically. Nice jeans though.

I wanted a F.K jacket...any kind really but they had little in the way of those at DJ's this time. Incu TGV had a nice 1 button blazer but it was too big. I liked some of the Raf stuff in incu this time especially. Hate the store though.

  6. styleofmind, I think you should really look into getting those Dior's soonish. I have a feeling when the KVA DH lines start coming in, Hedi-era denim will become rare and expensive.

I dont expect KVA to leave the current denim cuts untouched. Maybe they will be better, maybe they will be worse...who knows.

  7. when i was in NYC i was chillin at a park and an older ugly goth lookin homeless lady came walking by and i was like what the fuck, damn i feel sorry for her. then i took a closer look and she was wearing the number nine sunglasses and a number nine scarf and a shit load of designer clothing that made an over all appearance of a homeless lady. shit was crazy. my girlfriend said, i feel sorry for her then i explained that she gots some expensive ass shit on her body and she seems to be FAR from homeless.
