i picked up a pair of raw Whyred Dee today on sale @ FamousFriends. I really, really like them. They fit and look like the PBJs except not so tight thru the thighs and the denim feels like the A77 raws except thicker.

i bought these in place of the A77 raw blacks I've been saving up for (the SA at Seven was treating me weird and i'd prefer to pickup direct in Paris or buy NWT on eBay).

Well, my mindset is that we get them because they're what we imagine jeans should be. I don't, regardless of price, consider jeans to be something that should need babying or obsessive care. If spending more on them made it so that I had to treat them like anything but jeans, I'd be doing myself a disservice. I take more pleasure in their development, certainly, but I try my best to never stop treating them like jeans.

i stopped getting xmas presents when i turned 18.

the fam tradition that got started because some people ended up w/ no gifts or nothing fun at the end of the party was a gift grab bag with a minimum dollar amt on the gift entry--and everyone who enters gets a number that determines the order they can open a gift. the thing that makes it fun is that the person after you opens a new gift and if its lame they can switch with anyone before them. so the higher your number the best off you are because you can pick whatever opened gift you want. << the loud ppl in the family make it funnier than it is. :]

if yer staying at the flying pig or hang out there you'll be ok for new year's...probably.

the plot is much, much weaker in The Last Man on Earth:

-- dude is the only person w/ immunity ever because he got bit by a bat in panama a long time ago--and he only realizes that his immune blood can be a cure 3 years after the world has gone to shit???

-- so, it's fair to assume that panamanian bats would've bitten loads of panamanians = robert morgan not being the last man on earth, but just maybe the last dude in LA.

-- aaaand how the hell would dude who gets out and explores the city frequently enough for 3 or 4 years would miss a large enough group of vaccinated infected who can walk around in the sunlight, kill other infected, and are building a new world order where everyone dresses up in black and kills folk in churches (red scare much...)?

in the film the dark seekers aren't zombies or vampires. they're infected w/ a rabiis-like virus/rage/whatever. also...super powers or adrenalin/jacked up bodies?

and mang you must've been real confused during the flash backs and, like, the whole movie. manhattan is ground zero. in an attempt to contain the infection they blew up the bridges to keep the epidemic on the island.

and how is the movie cut? it was paced alright, no major plot holes, no deus ex machina copouts well sort of... was a decent enough movie.

anyway, i thought the same thing whitney did about the trap. alpha male got angry that dude stole his girlfriend learned how dude trapped her and set it up hisself. and dude was really underestimating the infected.
