  1. weed is good for you, not bad. just don't smoke too much in a sitting. try not smoking until you are "high". pay close attention to the way your body feels as you take those first hits. this all depends on the type of weed, of course.

eating weed raw is pretty heinous for your digestive system so if you've got any problems especially - i would recommend against that.

my dispensary is doing edibles using just keef to make the butter. i'll never be able to eat a trim-edible again.

  2. ok so after all that previous debate about expensive southern california medical marijuana - i just smoked a joint of $50/e og kush that is amazing (Cornerstone Research Collective). i forgot what my point was...

    :)

  3. Hahah how old are you dear? It's not the first time I hear guys (obiously potheads) saying stuff like that.

Lighter or not, I've never consider a girl faking to be half-disable or dumb as something cute. COME ON GIRL.

Yes with a lot of pictures of me and my hot girlfriends wearing cowboy hats, smoking weed naked and doing sexy stuff, you know...

remember going to a vietnamese restaurant in silverlake with shannon and amelia and...?

  4. im so so on edibles twice i had em i really didnt feel it ( one was a brownie from the clinic and the other was a big cookie from the clinic) and it was just whatever. then i had a small cookie that a friends friend made and i was fucked up for like 5 hours.

haha a lesson in concentration. my dispensary (cornerstone research collective) has been making amazing edibles lately. they only use kief to make the butter and it's amazing!

  5. really? a 1/2 ounce of cannabis...that cant be right lol id rather smoke a half zip than drink it in one drink haha

haha i am actually not so much even a fan of eating weed food anyway (says me who ate a brownie today...) but watching that clip made me curious.

  6. Aren't they made out of natural cellulose and starch or some shit? Oh and if any of you read time out new york, there was a little article on how to roll a joint as curated by the editor of high times. Somewhat funny. I think they probably have to blaze a lot to be able to consume all the food they write about though.

that is what the manufacturers say, however these things are made in brazil and as i understand it there isn't a lot of oversight. it's been proven that these things contain glycerin - how you feel about consuming that can be complex to figure out. it's bad for you, but so are regular papers - you know? and i love smoking joints even though i have a volcano.

  7. high society and/or kathmandu should have some type of them

not most times, its sorta like the trees just stay cherried in between hits and then burns the paper down during a drag. if you let it sit long enough chances are youll have to relight, but id rather it be that way than having the stuff smoke itself. usually if you dont get distracted you dont need to relight

when i use clear papers i find that the j burns better if you don't twist up the top and just lightly pack the bud in the end (like packing a package of cigarettes). i think that the burning problems with those papers are exacerbated by dense sections of bud (which can be caused by the twisting at the end) where the paper and weed are burning really differently.

i love those papers because you can really taste the weed but it kind of sketches me out to smoke plastic.

  8. Can anybody suggest stores in LA? I'm looking for heavy outerwear sort of fabrics, like wool, etc.

b black and sons - downtown at los angeles st. @ 5th st.

you might also try international silks and woolens on beverly blvd. in hollywood.

basically all retail fabric stores operate by buying up unused end lots from other distributors and apparel manufacturers - keep this in mind if you're shopping for something that is more expensive, there is a lot of bargaining room considering they got the goods for probably 1/3 -1/2 of the actual wholesale price.

  9. Beasters get you high. just not as high as headies, or longer.

whaa? actual beasters is commercially grown weed that smells like hay and would only get the pussiest weed pussy high.

also WTF is "headies" and all this shit. like when i lived in new york and my guy would say "i have this shit over here and then i have headies!!!" by headies do you mean weed that hasn't been keefed?

i want to know the name of the goddamned clone, i smoke too much to not care.

  10. Sour Diesel, Trainwreck, or Jack herer are great strains... but like, Haze and Skunk are pure sativa.

i don't know that haze and skunk are pure sativa. mostly for sure but from what i know they have fairly complex lineages?

the reason i bring up the point is that haze/skunk strains tend to have a really heavy psychoactivity but i'm not sure this "psychadelicness" should be considered characteristic of all pure sativas. most pure sativas i've had have been really functional up highs with a clear head but def. altered.

  11. ^same goes for the opposite, ive winded up with shit that looked bomb as fuck and then barely got me faded. nature of the beast i guess?

shit that looks bomb as fuck but does not get you high is the nature of the BEASTERS

  12. if you buy directly from the mills isn't there like a 10,000 yd minimum or something like that?

    no.

for a button down shirt 10,000 yds is about 7700 shirts. there are not too many companies who are doing those numbers and are buying italian fabric.

usually if there is a minimum it's because they have to make it for you and it'll be 1000 yds but you will usually be able to get sample yardage (maybe in another color) in order to make prototype and sales samples.

the only time you see 10k yd. minimums is if you're buying a highly specialized fabric from asia or something, and even then they would probably break that into colors. 10k is also a common minimum for custom made snaps and buttons and that kind of shit.

the whole reason for minimums is because there is a minimum point at which the trouble the mill goes to to produce the fabric is profitable. many mills carry a small quantity of in-stock sample yardage. so maybe you could get 10-20 yds and then go get your 1000 after you've got orders based on the samples.

  13. couldnt let that happen

naw dood. looks can be deceiving. shitll get you silly honestly

looks can be deceiving! some of the best og kush can actually look a little leafy, most people are just after the extremely dense buds but I think they are a little hard to smoke efficiently compared to something a little airier.

  14. og kush can be identified by a distinctive pine sol smell. if you have smoked/smelled sour diesel, it is similar - an essential oil called limonene.

just found this gem from a very reliable source:

The best info I have is that Chem A (which was renamed OG Kush) was the result of an Afghani x Thai cross, created by a breeder in Colorado. Chem A was crossed with Mass Skunk to produced SD. Limonene, the essential oil responsible for the citrus note of OG and SD, has long been associated with Thai landrace strains. The diesel component is present in several Hindu Kush landraces, especially Chitral from Pakistan.

  15. you want to buy from the mills directly.

Italy is the most expensive but the best, then Japan, Turkey, India, etc.

two good italian mills are cotonificio albini (thomas mason) and tessitura monti

If you can't do that, best bet is to contact a distributor who is a supplier to custom shirtmakers.
