Commbat, i'm back in Singapore already. I was in Rajasthan for 10 days.

pushkar is a holy city, and as such, everything served is vegetarian. we had cheese, but no eggs. we ate in the hotel nearly every meal because we didn't want to risk a bad tummy before our work was done. thankfully the chef was great.

you can read the papers while you have your grilled tomato and cheese sandwich

Soepom, I spot some dragon fruit. I perhaps the deep purple variety though. Bigs up to your mum's cooking and presentation, is/was she a professional chef?

yep that was dragon fruit indeed, we have both varieties the white flesh and dark purple variety imported here. she's not a professional chef but has competed and won several amateur cooking contests more than a decade ago.

does your mum have ocd? caus i sure as hell do and i like your mums presentation.

i think ocd and her fondness for fancy presentation are quite separate issues. she stalks this thread so i'm not a liberty to comment any further.
