Talk to a tailor. He can take it in from the knee down from the in our outseam. Saucemaster did it to his RRDS on styleforum and they look good. Some kid here did it to his zathans and it looks alright. Sauce's are top notch though.

Nothing wrong with some of the bdg basics. I have some tees and a couple long sleeve thin sweatery things that fit nice and look pretty good. They may not last that long but they'll last long enough for $10. I thought i heard about them getting apc/nudie in the uk or something in the future. You know it's gonna happen. Nudie is getting huge and APC was featured in GQ last month. They have chucks and vans slips which everyone wears. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be unless your wardrobe consists of their maniquens. Don't mind the laides in it though, except when they take it way too far. It's mostly the ugly chicks doing that to make up for well....you know.

That's just a previw of what's to come. If you want your sams to fit slim, you probably should've sized down 1. I've seen sized down 2 and they look normal(not even sufu fit). True to size works but they'll be a bit fuller cut from what i've seen. They'll still look good. Give em' a good hot soak.

What's the current price of the jeans? The main post says $160 with a slight increase for 2007. Is it 170, 175? Any definite for current pricing?

Those look a bit too busy, baggy fit and the pockets stick out too much. I like insidertrading and lowrey's because they add just a little bit more to casual pants to make them different. I'm not looking for something crazy. I like denim not because some are made in japan, but they're sleek, classy, and have a good silhouette.

Minya, if you happen to come upon a new brand or site with sleek looking cargos, send a pm or throw an update post/new thread, because i have been checking on and off for awhile now looking for something to change up my bottoms game a bit. I'm gonna get a nice pair a cords eventually, but i love the material look, of the two cargos in here. They look lightweight/breathable too which i'd have to get answers from lowrey and insidertrading. Florida humidity in summer makes your legs sweat the second you walk out the door. How cheap does it is beyond me.

wow, it looks like you have huge feet. I'm not a huge fan of black chucks though. I think the true white/white ones look better as far as chucks go. Some of the natural whitish purcells i like too though.

Levis could've been cool about all of this but they really didn't need to. Homage, respect towards levis jeans is still infringement. I understand and think it's cool that the japanese companies cleverly play with levis details. I loved the pigs and the green/blue pocket tabs, etc... But it's not like levis isn't completely in the right here. Sure they're being big bad capitalist meanies, but it's perfectly understandable and not even that wrong. It's mean to go after SE, BiG, etc.... but hey, it's the best way to stop all the sales. If levis didn't come down on any retailers at all and didn't address them, than kiya and gordon might consider selling stuff still if they can get them, because we'd all buy them. Now they're too scared to do stuff like that in fear of more law action. It's a mean but smart move.

LVC isn't that great anymore, but if we're making random assumptions and claiming them as fact to attack levis, why can't i say that LVC isn't doing that well because they have little incentive to use superhigh quality denim and details when the japanese brands already cornered the market lately. Also since the japanese are some of the biggest buyers of this stuff. Maybe levis thinks that the love of japanese denim is more than levis repros(which is pretty much 100% true if you spend 1 hour on this site). Levis can't really compete with the japanese brands anymore. Why not take em' out? It was cool that the japanese brands payed tribute to the denim god that is levis in the beginning but they really should've went on their marry way desinging their own stuff a long time ago, maybe releasing special edition levis celebration repros every levis anniversery or something. They knew what they were doing after they started making money from it. I dont' think any of them are suprised or really that upset about it since they pretty much had it coming.

That being said, i still think it sucks and wish that levis would just leave em' alone because it's not that big a deal compared to how much money they're making. It's like starbucks increasing their coffees something like 5-10cents recently. Did starbucks really need that extra revenue(i don't know the coffee bean situation so don't tell me). I like the japanese denim because of the exclusive factor. Even if LVC was as good, i'd buy sammies or sda or 45rpm, etc.... The no tab between fabrics on backs of jeans thing is pretty retarded though. I didn't even know that was a levis thing. It just seems like more a common sense thing. Is gucci or other bigger name brands going to take this lying down since i think they have a pocket tab and aren't levis repros obviously? Oh well.

Could you list a measurements section and do a thigh/calf measurement for me? I'm deciding between a 30 and a 31 and would really like to get a post stretch measurments from all angles as i think the new standards would stretch a bit too baggy for me from the pics i've seen. I'm 6 ft 165 by the way. I feel like a big weirdo but could you post a pic of them worn? I may as well ask a/s/l too, geez does denim make you a huge nerd. I normally wear 32s and 31 in nudies so i just wanted to make sure i'm not much bigger than you and will stretch them out too much. Thanks.
