  1. Cross posting because i wasn't sure if it counted as denim or other clothes

I recently received a APC denim jacket and i wasn't sure on what to do with it. Would i treat it like raw denim jeans and hot soak and wear? The APC card that came with it said to wash by hand or in machine with cold water only for the first 3 washes. Also it mentions nothing about drying.

I was thinking of hot soaking with a bit of detergent and then hang drying or throwing it in the dryer to make it a bit softer and shrink it more. It's definitely too baggy right now. I'm generally a small to medium and this is a size 2. I've never had a raw denim jacket so i thought i'd ask.

  3. Does anybody else think that Chronaug looks like Cheap's little brother?

My hair used to be as long or longer than his a week or two ago before i got it cut. When it grows out i'll try to take a cheap inspired pic to freak people out. He lives near me. Maybe i'll drive to jville and steal all the good stuff from those magic thrift stores of his.

  4. The thread should really be about food products. Does melba toast count as a cracker? They're great for spreads like goat cheese. Much better for you than wheat thins too, but i still buy wheat thins to look at rachel ray on the box. mmmm......

It's always a risk clicking on this thread as Fade is always staring straight into my soul.

I agree with sidneylo on the subject of ms. will i am

As for will i am? Are there some jacked up teeth i'm missing out on? The white bar leaves too much to the imagination.

  6. after looking at equip's fit, i am worried about my NSs that are being shipped. they are a size 30 and i usually wear a size 31. i regret not researching about the fit prior to the order. hopefully contextclothing will sympathize and allow me to exchange even though its a sale item. :(

If they don't fit and they won't take returns, someone will always buy it on the market

  7. I think people are too worried about "superfuture" tight fit on the NS. They are not skinny jeans, people. 2-3 sizes down will be tight at first but stretch to slim to relaxed fit jeans after a week. 1 size down is basically buying the jeans a size too big. 2-3 sizes down is almost neccessary considering how much they're vanity sized and stretch.

To the above poster: I'm a 32 as well and i tried on a pair of 30s and 29s at barneys awhile back. The 30s fit snug, but i was able to button them easily and i could tell they'd stretch too much. The 29s were harder to button up but i was still able to button them up and i could tell they'd stretch out quickly. The rise is also relatively high so sizing down is less of an issue as well.

  8. BiG's markup isn't much. When you figure in japanese taxes, and shipping(a little bit more if you do it through a proxy if the site doesn't ship to the US). You basically pay on average about $10-25 more at BiG, but BiG allows returns, are really helpful when you call and talk to them about stuff, and they'll do free chain stitching for you. So i'd pay the extra tiny bit(in comparison to $250 for jeans) for the convinience, return policy, helpfulness, and hemming.

  9. Anyone know of any japanese sites that have the grey pinstripe slim fit hoodie in stock. In medium. It took me forever to navigate the japanese sites and find zozo.com but they are sold out of slim fit grey pinstripe mediums. I figure i might be able to find it on another site and i'm looking but navigating the sites with translators is slow work. Just curious if anyone could throw me a link so i can then work with 2000db. Thanks

  10. saucemaster on styleforum was advised by gordon to size down if i recall. These aren't stretchy jeans but they will if they need to like any jeans. You certainly do not have to as these are tight as hell to begin with. However, it's possible to size down, especially if you're in between sizes. Some people are true 32s or maybe 32.3ish. I'm always in between 31 and 32 for a true size so it's hard for me. I tried on some stuff at BiG and couldn't tell at the moment because i had recently lost weight. I might give it a try in a month.

I like the fit on the nosepiece, kix. Dope

cultpop- I absolutely love the color of those shoes. I need to find me something like that. Reminds me of the killer color of the Alden indy boots in the "shoes that look good with time" thread.

digital- not that you don't already know and haven't heard it a thousand times but those boots are unreal. Everyone has been getting sick boots lately.

    To get things rolling again.

I love milspex's style because it's cool and something i could never wear, but i think there has to be a limit to how low you hang your jeans. I mean, i have no idea how anyone could walk with jeans that appear to be hanging mid thigh. I'm more intrigued than anything. I like the look insider trading does when he hangs his new cures down really low, but this just doesn't look comfortable to move in.

  13. Master's stuff is pretty much the most consistant as far as what could belong in this thread. I see people doing that look so much better walking around campus. That's the thing people are saying. It doesn't take $300 jeans to achieve that look. There are plenty of jeans that are dark with no predistressing, baggy, stack and with no loud pockets. Hell, some guy on styleforum posted what i though was an awful fit of 501 stfs sized up some and he had better looking stacking than master's diors. He also saved enough money to buy 2 dunks.

What the hell is with badly dressed street people like the one posted above and over matching everything? Man, nothing's funnier when i see people trying to dress street on campus(white or black) and going out of their way to match their red hat with their under shirt and red shoes. Lame shit like that is embarassing.

For general mens wear, it's hard to find slim(not skinny) fitting clothes. Most clothes are made for the average overweight and short american. If i want something that fits a 6ft 160lb guy like myself, i pretty much have to buy designer or at least more expensive brands. Shit like gap, banana, jcrew, express, all fit too baggy. The smalls will be too short and the mediums too wide. If i didn't have to spend a bunch of money on clothes that actually fit, i wouldn't. Hell, i wish i thought that baggy clothes looked good because it'd be hella cheaper and i'd be able to do more because the pieces would all be reasonably priced. Fuck dior's prices. The fit when bought in the correct size is spot on for a tall slimmer guy like me, but i can't justify the price.
