  1. My bad, I just saw item location :Southern California. I guess it's expensive to ship from california to china, then back to the US.

Search ebay for peacoats. Go to men's clothing and the vintage clothing section and search. There are tons of available peacoast and people usually provide measurements. I'm watching two of em' right now. DON'T STEAL THEM

  2. That may be a good idea there. I want to try on other jeans with a lower rise first to get a feel for it. I don't think i've had jeans as low a rise as the PBJs. They're about the same price so i figured i'd see if people had experience with that. Something about tailoring those jeans makes me nervous. Would it be complicated with selvage involved?

Anyone have the pbj005s and the flathead 3001s? I'm sure i'll find more people like this next month when selfedge gets all the 3001s in, but just checking.

I love the whole urban wear/hypebeast thing where they overly match every article of clothing.

I don't know how, but i haven't done laundry in like a month. I've just been rewearing shit and wearing some stuff i usually don't wear. I'm on my backup boxers and socks. You know, the ones everyone has but never wear unless they have to.

  4. PBJ 005

    vs.

    Flat Head 3001

From what the measurements i've read, it seems the pbj is a bit more low rise, and maybe tighter in the thighs. The Flat Head looks a bit more fitted in the calf and a smaller leg opening. The Flat Head might be the slightly more flattering cut, but the denim on the PBJs just look so darn cool. I fell in love with the color when i was at BiG. I only worry about the PBJs being too big at the leg opening as i've seen some members have them and stack awkward because of the leg opening. Saucemaster on SF got great results sizing down 1 in PBJ from a reccomendation by gordon at BiG and they fit him perfect. I'm a 32 who can wear 31s, so i was considering sizing down to 31 in pbj and/or Flat Head. The measurements on Bears show the size 32 flatheads measuring 30" though. Can that be right?

  5. Some people want real "cargos" others want slim wool or a cotton pants with cargo pockets. Authenticity isn't really important to me, but not everyone can wear authentic cargos with their wardrobe/situation and get away with it

Cheap is doing what he can living in florida. It is in the 70s today. Little room for semaghs, multi layered jackets, etc... I'm honestly suprised everyone doesn't repost things as much. I guess some people only post once every couple days, but man, i don't have different outfits for every day of the month. I'm lucky to go a week or two without rewearing something.

  7. From what i've seen, sizing down classic fit and normal slim fit don't work. The classic fit is a baggier cut. The arms are cut larger as well as the body. If you size down, you'll basically just have a shorter hoodie. If you want a slim fit, it's best to hold out and try to search the japanese sites for a slim fit in your size. I don't reccomend sizing down in classic.

  8. I actually picked up a pair of decently slim gap wool cargo pants on sale for $9. I sized down 1 or 2 because gap sizing always runs big and they fit snug at the waist and slim enough on the legs. The 30s measured 32 exactly. They'll get the job done till i can find some good ones. I'm still holding out for the possibility of michael j krell doing a lightweight cargo pant for his next line.

  9. Get a pair of apc new cures instead. Getting jeans tailored above the knee is tricky business. Best not to try. If you want an actualy skinny fit, just size down 2 in new cures. The inseams on new cures seem to run a bit shorter. If you're only 5'7, you'll probably have to get them hemmed. If you wear a 30 inch inseam, go for a 32 or 33 inseam if you get them hemmed depending on how much stack you want. You can always have the tailor go down the 33 first, and if you don't like it still, go down to 32 or 31. But apc new standards are not skinny jeans, they're more slim fit. For slim thighs get new cures.
