  1. i havent eaten in 24 hours (fell asleep before dinner, skipped breakfast to get to work in time, didnt have time for lunch cause i was busy with work)

im stuck in the office for another 2 hours

i cant eat in the office

    im literally trembling

  2. this thread is keeping me on fb and styleforum. wtf guys? did rodney king's words mean nothing to y'all?

for real? sz has more power trippin than all other fashion forums combined.

  3. hap already had a chip on his shoulder because sucky "doesn't contribute" (selling great stuff in near new condition for cheap doesnt count). also because sucky used to have multiple accounts or something?

as the everything else just read the last 2 pages of superconfessional

  4. i believe you have a 0.7% chance of dying.

    good luck

lol you dont know anything about swine flu

i mean go to a doctor if youre paranoid but the only person who has died of it in the first world had just gotten off a plane from mexico

i'm not saying that its nothing to worry about (in fact i believe theres a significant chance that the swine flu strain will mutate and become much more brutal) but for now, at least in the first world, lives aren't really in danger. just keep some tamiflu at home in case things go bad and supply runs low.

  5. do infractions show up in usercp

your own infractions are in your usercp on the same page as reps

other people's infractions may or may not be on their profile depending on if they're public or private. i think there is another separate variable that determines whether or not details about the infraction (such as which post it was for) are shown. but i'm not 100% sure about the details.

  6. just to be clear here.

yes it was worth an infraction.

insulting a moderator who gives their time freely to help out is worthy of an infraction, continuing to do so will get you banned.

    1) i dont think inayas post was particularly offensive, but if she can hate on scott, the opposite should be fair game as well.

    2) you have personally said the exact same thing as scott.

i'm not whiteknighting scott or hating on inaya (i'm the first to whiteknight inaya <3), just saying that there are some pretty obvious double standards at play.

  7. never had, so plz present paragraph long post describing the flavor.

the best place to get it is at a grimy pizza stand in a subway station, as hangover food during a walk of shame. it contains everything that you need after a hangover (carbs, eggs, regret). you're not allowed to fold this pizza because you need to take as long as possible eating it, experiencing the various flavors it offers. also, tabasco, which is standard fare for street stand pizza over here, is not allowed.

most people hate the flavor and wonder how anybody could ever think that this combination of ingredients was a good idea, but sometimes it just hits the spot.

  8. because most people on here are college age or recently out of college - seems to be the period before real life begins, when people still have enough time to waste hours on an internet forum, posting about clothes.

  9. i can't even see what inaya posted (cant see tinypic on this computer) but it really doesnt matter

i dont know if the infraction came from inaya or hap but that doesnt really matter either

point is language like that gets thrown around here like it's nothing, even by mods (and that's a good thing, focusing on niceness too much makes forums turn into tfs where the slightest criticism of anyone, no matter how constructive, is smacked down). infracting people for saying things like that seems to be highly selective and not actually related to the offensive language (ie the billykirk thread)

  10. i wonder how much most magazines make in ad revenue, but i'm sure it's not 6 g's per copy.

also i kinda like ads in fashion mags because they're relevant and usually well-made. many are just as good as the editorials in the magazine.

  11. no azn I know is conservative, but I live in cali so almost no one I know is conservative

you guys may have voted for obama but you still have schwarzenegger as a governor and once upon a time had reagan

but i guess that goes with the f u, i got mine mentality

  12. Like any of you were actually going to buy it.

I know they make their content available for free (to a certain degree), but I still think their pricing is ridiculous and the low volume/high price thing they do is completely artificial. Further proof for this is that they changed the price from $2500 to $6500 like it's nothing. I'm sure they'll sell out, but it's still ridiculous.

Yes, it's wonderfully curated, photographed, designed, etc. But that doesn't make it worth $6500. Their decimal point is off by about 2 digits.

  13. ive never really done the whole "huge birthday party" thing, usually i'd just meet some friends and hang out. if my birthday was on a school day i wouldnt even do it on that particular day.

when people in england were expecting me to plan some huge party i was all like :o

(i ended up just going for drinks with some friends and then going out like i would on any other day)
