  1. to be fair the hardest thing about tinder (probably all the other online things too but i never used them) is finding something to talk about if you dont have mutual facebook stuff. its kind of a guessing game of what you might have in common and each party probably has 20 other chats with the exact same conversation going on at the same time so very easy to lose interest

all the girls ive met off it were art/fashion (ie thats their job) girls just because that way you can fast forward to talking about something thats interesting to both people

  2. I'm definitely not criticizing his creative output whatsoever - his success in the industry is a testament to his ability as a stylist and I think a lot of the stuff he's done is fantastic, especially the styling jobs for Missoni. Besides, just because you're amazingly creative and a sucess in the industry, it doesn't necessarily translate into great personal style, picture related

What I was saying is that he is, truly dressed by the internet. He obviously wears it better than a lot of other people copping for hype - he's attractive, he's got great hair + beard, and he's in good shape, of course clothes look good on him. But the reasoning behind a lot of his purchases seem pretty transaperent, because it's definitely internet-hyped pieces; wearing both Paul Harnden and Aitor Throup, good as they are individualy, doesn't seem to make that much sense in the context of someone's personal style, anymore than wearing Carol Christian Poell and Visvim. Either way, he's a knowledgable guy, and I certainly don't have any antipathy towards him, but since he was wearing Supreme-Dior-Vans, he's definitely been the high profile posterboy of being dressed by the internet.

That consumption argument is rubbish though. What, am I supposed to think Ron dresses well when he's wearing SLP head-to-toe just because he most likely bought it at full retail in a store?

e: not saying I'm the new guard, or that I'm more knowledgable/dress better than him, just pointing out the irony of what I thought was a pretty funny statement made by him.

it has nothing to do with consumption you mug

seenmy was working with aitor 5 years before he produced the first retail collection

deux oiseaux u constantly write well structured shit like a high school english student but are completely clueless about actual subject matter of the topic u grace with ur 5 paragraph essays=

  3. you ain't lie. i think they switched because "natural cut" fries are trendy and ppl were demanding that they come salted. both mistakes in my eyes.

fries were never a high tier wendys item though

jr bacon cheese, jr cheese deluxe, spicy 6 piece. dollar menu millionaire.

  4. fascinating article. ive noticed yoox working for more and more companies, but i didn't realise the extent of it.

weird though, you'd think with 20 million profit they could finally make their standard consumer facing user interface not suck. it's not like there aren't good ones to imitate from.

  5. You'd have to be an idiot to pick London. Barcelona, Berlin, Scandinavian cities, etc. are much nicer places for young people to live.

Vienna is great too, maybe not as much exciting stuff to offer as some of these other cities but incredible general quality of life.

I have heard from friends that Athens is similar to Barcelona in that while the economic climate is very bad, the city is still great to live in.
