Hey buddy, I'm no internet detective but I just randomly happened to come across his sale thread and thought it was pretty shitty that he would brag about the prices he paid for the jordans a few days AFTER he already tried (and probably succeeded) in selling them on sufu or ebay for mad profit. And is a pair of III's really warrant asking $375 for, I don't really know but I think that's a rare price to get for them.
Lastly, I don't get your post, you are contradicting yourself with the last part and you also edited it so I am going to assume that you originally thought you were on to something neat but then realized that you had nothing. I buy things and sell them for profit all the time, it's not a crime by any means but the blatant lack of discretion in this case just irked me. Cheers.
Wow not only are you an internet detective but now you are a psychic and the e-police. My edit was I added the "pretty stupid" but it seems as though that is now applicable to your scenario. Who cares if he's selling them for mad profit don't buy them then. Stfu and get a life. Genius.
Oh and cheers.

i usually buy at least half of the men's collection every season (for several years) and by now i think i'm done. i found a good tailor so it's all over between me and apc.
hahaa love the neg rep sig
I'm gradually phasing apc out myself with the likes of raf simons, margiela etc.

whoa if that's the case then this is really uncool...
Just because he came up means he has to sell them for the same price? Are you an internet detective?
He shouldn't have posted what he paid for them (pretty stupid) but that doesn't mean he can't sell them for what the market will sustain.

Mike, looks a bit contrived homey. Otherwise I like it.

Slimane is alright to me. I really respect him for his contribution in fashion - slim silhouette and proportions so new and revolutionary at the time (his golden age).
The first few collections for dior were just mind blowing. I love them to bits. Luster and the like.. but as his residency in dior went on, I feel like I just see different variations and styling of the previous seasons. And I think that is where hedi lacks - yes, he does have his aesthetic and a "style" but as a designer, it's nice to show some variety. Okay he did innovate, but he just kept on doing the same thing. He just became stagnant. I'm looking forward to what hedi is up to now.. is there something new in store? Are we going to be all over him again like before? Hmm let's see.
Agreed, much better than Rick's hot topic for grown ups aesthetic.

This shit is better in stores, picked up a lavender button up and matte black oxford tie.

Well I think most on this forum owe it to mom and dad for their lack of cc indebtedness.

Without traffic, UCLA is about 10-12 mins away on surface streets but with medium traffic possibly 20.

Gnar is spot on, high quality than apc with a little more panache and at the same pricepoint. I've handled some unis at a couple places in LA, almost got the flannel slacks which were priced nicely right at 200ish but I slept. If the quality is getting better there are some good staples to be had.

It would be foolish for you to base your decision of color on an internet picture alone.

I don't consider myself an expert in RO's work, nor would I consider myself a fan. I don't own any RO items, I don't dress "goth", nor do I have any desire to.
On another note, I think Carol C. Poell is a very talented individual yet the majority of it is not my style either nor do I own any ccp. I'm speaking from a relative frame of mind re: designers in general of course.

Typically on this board, when one expresses extreme love/hate for an item it will sway subsequent posters.
This is the strongest collection yet and everyone here will end up eating it up including myself.

My point is that unless you're atuned to the work of a particular designer, his/her output is going to look monolithic.
How are you more attuned than the next person and what makes you more qualified than me I'm curious.
The argument that a designer's production has no merit because it "all looks the same" to you is thoughtlessly dismissive. RO does shirts, pants, suits, jackets, leather, dresses, etc. etc. How is this production any less variegated than any other designer's output? My point is that he only has one theme, goth. He has no versatility that designers like MMM or Raf Simons have that I have seen thus far. There's no point in further arguing this as you're obviously a fan but I tend to step away from the monitor and look at things at face value. The fact will remains that I dislike him as a designer.

"all looks the same" is the constant refrain of those on the outside looking in.
Questions of merit aside, are you saying he's NOT a designer? If so then what would you call him? How would you describe what he does?
Tell me, how is it different?
What does he design? Drapey shirts and tight pants? I forgot, leather jackets too, about a hundred of them that look the same. You may refer to your SZ cliff notes if you wish.

RO isn't that bad though I don't have any desire to purchase anything from his line. He's just not a designer in my eyes yet people go ape shit over his stuff that all looks the same.

I'll ask around, I know a guy heavily into furniture who owns a dope vintage lighting shop in LA.

It is the most normal nylon bag you could possibly come up with; the only distinguishing factor being that it has pleats on the large pocket.
How is this different from any other camera bag? I am actually genuinely curious to know.
I'm still waiting for you to show me some better bags. I don't particularly care for porter but if you show me NL goodness I will cop, preferably something leather and structured but not bulky.

Rutan don't trip, flip'em for what you can. That fucking queer ass internet columbo neg repped me stating I had to say something and tried to slide in a comment about me at the end of his post. I'm wondering just how small his penis really is.
