  1. They do seem to have a slight bootcut. Previously on BiG's website, they had measurements for the XX-005s that showed the hem being .5" wider than the knee, which would give them a slight bootcut. However, the measuremens that are up now show the knee and the hem being the same size, which I'm not so sure is correct.

To avoid the bootcut look, you can either cuff or hem your jeans. By cuffing them even ever so slightly, the jeans look much more like a straight leg. I wear my black PBJs with a small cuff when I wear black shoes to break up the monotony a bit, and they certainly seem more straightlegged to me than when I don't cuff them.

  2. they wont return them if chainstitched...

    taken from BiG webstore:

"You can return new, undamaged, unaltered and unworn items from an order within 7 days after they have been delivered to you. Returned items can be exchanged for the same product or for store credit. Items should be returned in their original packaging with original tags."

He was asking if BiG did chainstitching, not if he could return them after getting them stitched

And the answer is yes, they do: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6&Itemid=43

  3. click if you are sexy

nice pickup. i grabbed that same margelia vneck as well as a s2a shit. i almost picked up some raf stuff but i was unsure about the oversized fit. the tealish colored with the fabric stitched on the front was what i was looking at, but that t shirt you got is nice as well.

nice, how much was the v-neck marked down to? If I remember correctly it was $110, and then 40% off, still around $66?

it was $195 originally, marked down to 119, and again to 79, then 40% off that, so just under $50 in the end. great price and an awesome fit.

  4. They have them now? Their site is down, so I can't check.

I assume you're referring to the 19oz version, correct? This 710 model is the replacement for the old S0505X one?

I was looking at them, myself, because they seemed to have a relatively high rise, which I need, while still having a slim silhouette. I'd definitely be interested in seeing some pictures when you get them!

  5. i dont have any of their shirts myself, but i find a lot of their designs to be extremely hit or miss. there are some that i find myself liking a lot, and others were i dont really know what the designer was thinking. the variety is great, though.

  6. What's the current price of the jeans? The main post says $160 with a slight increase for 2007. Is it 170, 175? Any definite for current pricing?

I think $160 is the price increase, as they were $150 previously.

  7. Not available in atlanta.

in fact, there's nothing good in atlanta.

the only good retailer out here is barney's coop

and their stock is pretty shitty, as well.

i like some of EG's stuff, but a lot of it doesn't translate well into S/S, in my opnion. that hoodie is pretty nice, though.

  8. truthfully it just really depends on your style. i think some people cant pull off the skinny jean + boot look, while others can do so quite well. look at some of sphoxx's pictures in the WAYWT thread, and you can see some good examples of skinny jeans with boots, in my opinion.

as for suggestions, you could look for some cloak desert boots, which are apparently available at their sample sale for fairly cheap.

edit: if you buy chelsea boots from CT, I would suggest sizing a full size down (i.e. if you wear a 9 in US, get an 8 in UK). their boots run rather big from my experience.

  9. Hello,

Would anyone care to explain to me how i can?

    Thank you,

    julian

I assume you already have the pictures off your camera and onto your picture.

Make sure that you resize your pictures so that they are not overly large, something like 800x600 should be fine. You can use any image editing program to do this.

Once you have done that, upload the pictures to an image host, such as this: http://imagesocket.com/

Go to that page, browse for your pictures, upload them, and copy-paste the links in the Forum 1 box into your post.
