depending on how much time you have, you might consider heading to a thrift store for some dress shoes. i have seen tons of great shoes that are mostly in excellent condition for a fraction of what you would pay even at payless. check out some of cheap's posts for proof.

also, personally i would stay away from shirts that are too busy. the dark denim and the shine of the jacket is enough. i think a busy/dark shirt with the jacket is a bit off balance and overpowering. a slim white shirt with the dark tie would be great.

so samurai weighs their denim post shrink? what about other brands? if i had to guess, i would say pbjs are pre shrink? i just picked up some full count 13.7oz and they feel quite a bit lighter than the 14oz pbjs, it might also be the slub though.

i am a huge fan of their sweatshirts. i went tuesday and they were almost completely sold out of the full zips. only s and xs left. i'm undecided about the cashmere... their merino wool sweaters are so nice for a fraction of the price i picked up some of those instead. i thought the layout was a little hard confusing, but once you wander around the store a bit you figure it out.
