are heavy wax content pomades still king for hold? i want to stray away from classic pomade brands and onto something more in the realms of salon hair products. anything out there worth mentioning? the hanz de fuko sponge wax looks to be a good contender. but i'm worried about hold since it's a water based product.

using goon grease atm and like it very much. but i'd like a bit more hold.

try topys. i had a pair of derbys that would clack every time i walked (leather sole), topy eliminated that. heel taps could come with a hard protective rubber layered on that could also help.

the squeaks are always on the tongue underneath the laces. probably rubbing againt itself and the eyelet panel. but no matter what i do, i can never get rid of it.

conditioner does help a little. but after 20mins or so of wearing, the squeaks just comes back.

cure for squeaky combat boots? i've tried all the usual remedies on google. baby powder, leather oil, conditioner, even wearing the shit out of them. if anything, they've made it worse.

it could be body oil stains? usually a long soak will get most of it out. but i've only experienced that with cotton.

anyone sampled the relaunch lang cuiron? same as the original?

just follow their sizing tables. most of the time its quite accurate.
