That's exactly what I what I was thinking!
Walter van Beirendonck and (to a lesser extent) Bas Kosters are the two names that come to mind.
W< - man, that takes me back. Back when they had a shop in Hype DF. They were the only label that did plastic ironic better than Diesel, back in the day.

If you washed them with a detergent it should have lysed the bacteria. Perhaps you should wash them again, but use more washing powder this time.

Remnants of a plain DoubleDouble and a coke
You don't know how much I hate you right now.
It's a toss-up as to which I miss more - In-n-Out, or the ocean. KY has neither.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH nowwww I get it.
I think Carri Mundane and Cassetteplaya are fucking tops, but I didn't think that her work was so closely associated with the neu rave scene in london. I thought it more of a part of the resurgence of clubkid culture in the UK, although, not knowing what music's being played in the clubs over there, I guess I thought too soon.
With all due respect, it's not a resurgence of club kid culture. It's a resurgence of Acid House, which happened from 1986-1989 in the UK and predates the club kids of NYC.

that sounds...painful.
when you first got the jeans, did you wear them everyday? or was it a rotation kind of thing
I was working for Diesel at the time, so I only wore them on my days off and nights out for the first few months, but when I left there and went to do my PhD they got a lot of use.

were they the handpainted gulls?
They were the very first ones to have the hand-painted giant gull down both legs. TBH I'm glad the paint wore off, as it looked, to quote a friend: "like you'd been done up the donut by an elephant."

The early italian-made cinchbacks had embroidered gulls.

after just wearing them, or after some washes as well?
I'd like to see the front of those jeans...this is a cool idea.
I probably washed them about once a month, but they got a lot of wear too.
Here's the front:

the diacocks have come off completely?!
that's amazing, Dr J. are those yours?
i cannot say how much i like the fact that they've provided us with buckleback options.
They are mine, but they're very old now - I bought them in 97 or 98.
6 months? As light as those are?No, they're a lot older than that, but the paint was gone within 6 months to a year.

After 6 months the diacocks are not an issue:

No the shark hoodie is a very nice hoodie.
There's just no way I'm paying $400-$600 for one, which seems to be the asking price on eBay.

LOL. Safely out of reach from the three cats...

Speaking of apartment therapy, it was featured on it a few weeks back.

Is it wrong of me to want that bape hoodie with the sharks teeth, similar to an old P-40?

AP are pretty much in the same league as A Lange & Sohne, Patek and VC. As has been stated, they all use their own movements rather than buying off the shelf (and maybe customising).
You're probably best off checking around on the Time Zone forums before dropping $15k on a watch - they are to horology what we are to denim.

hemming is better before washing, but having them hemmed after one wash won't kill ya.
Uh, what? If he has them hemmed before they shrink, then the new hem is going to be 2" higher up than planned.
Don't have the length altered until the jeans have finished shrinking.

I work in the mobile aspect of the music biz; I am a content executive.
That's interesting, my sister is a mobile content manager for one of the majors back in London.
