I bought these on Ebay. I dont quite like the way they fit on me (the legs are a bit looser than I like), so much to my dismay I have to let them go. The jeans are black color, selvage denim, in immaculate condition, szie 32 waist (spot on) and size 32 inseam. I am looking for $225 shipped in the US, which will basically cover my costs + PayPal fees. These jeans cost around $350 new.

Everything should be around 30-40% off in most high end stores.

CP Company and Stone Island used to have a stand alone store @ 106 Wooster in SoHo. Not sure if it's still there...
gone with the wind.

That's good to know about the alterations. Do they charge?

I'm pretty sure they were $40. My brother is going there today so I'll ask him to confirm.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Yes. They have the cords in a variety of colors.
Cool, thanks. Do you remember the prices by any chance?

For those who went to the Bway store - did you see any mens corduroy jeans? I need an inexpensive pair to wear to work.

To the OP, consider neighborhoods like Kensington and Midwood in Brooklyn. Kensington is spotty, but some areas of it are fine. Midwood is safe and is still a 7.5min train ride to Park Slope and a 15min ride to Carrol Gardens. And, you can have a car. I would also try my luck with Prospect Height and Windsor Terrace - both border Park Slope and are a bit cheaper (not by much, but still).

Funk it, not worth the trouble.

Thinking to go after work - is it worth going? I need cords and jeans. What are prices like?

Man, I can tell you, NYC renting game is brutal. Craigslist is FULL of lies, do not believe anything you read. There was a great NYTimes article a few months ago about how people get hoaxed and bullied through Craigslist. Cleaning up NYC real estate page is Craig's top priority, that's how scammy it is.

my girlfriend wanted to get a bag for her laptop, something else than the standard black one you can find at a computer or luggage store, something semi-girly but stylish. it needs to have a shoulder strap, thats pretty much the only requirement.
the laptop is pretty small and slim, 14" I think, so nothing massive.
Check this guy out. I got one for my wife for mere $50 from him, it's a $250 bag - excellent quality (they even use riri zippers). He had a ton of them in both leather and cloth - still might have some

Julius Reversed Ram Leather Riders Jacket. Got an additional 20% on top of 20%.

Clift Hotel is arguably "the hippest," but is also a bit pricey (starts @ $250 a night).
I've stayed at Clift for $195.
What about Hotel Phoenix?

4 books for me and a bape tee for my 13 year old cousin who is so hooked on this bape shit but can not afford or get a hold of it him self. Kids nowdays.
That Fashion Costume Institute of Kyoto book is excellent. One of the best fashion books in my opinion.

is paying so much $$$ really worth it for you guys living in NYC???
It depends on what you want to get out of where you live, really. 5 years ago I wouldn't exchange NYC for another city in the US for sure, and in the world possibly. Now I'm done clubbing, I've travelled to Europe about 20 times, I can piss on the whole fake hipster/rock scene, I think that the art/gallery scene is bullshit as well, and you can do a lot of shopping and rent cool movies online these days. With that in mind, I am warming up more and more to an idea of moving to San Francisco, which is still a great city, but smaller, cleaner, with a much better climate, and friendlier people. I've had enough grit and pressure, now I want peace.

does peter saville have the rights to keep pumping out products/using graphics since he is the artist (although he didn't do these nikes)??
I'm sure he owns the copyright. I think the way Raf Simons did it was decent, but this is a travesty.

I can see faust now, walking into his biz-casual office wearing a gigantic hooded parka with a pair of pilot goggles strapped onto the hood...
BAM!!! LOL, yea, it's their most popular piece, but they really do a lot of smart stuff you can wear at the office. Wearing a treated cotton/linen pair of pants in dark brown herringbone by them right now :-)

Yes. I haven't worn them, except for trying them on. They look immaculate.
