  1. Surver is looking for an ACRONYM GT-J11X 3L Gore-Tex Jacket in size M for sale.

But first some background on surver. He is 1.75 m tall and weighs about 65 kg. Surver thinks he should be wearing a size Medium but he is not sure so he consulted the search engine and resurrected every single acronym thread from the dead.

If anyone has one please email him at [email protected]. Thanks.

  2. I think there are two different vintage chinos/fits. I have the baggy pair as well. It is labeled as "Flat Front Vintage Chino Trousers." It looks like the same chino pattern but a different color and it is really baggy. I think that is where the confusion is coming from.

The pair I have (same as prima) measures 26cm at the knee, 24cm at the hem. What does the other pair measure?

  3. A lot of it just depends on what you want out of your console. For example, hi-def preferences:

XBox360 has HD-DVD as an addon, PS3 comes with Blu-Ray. If you have a preference obviously that would play into the decision. Then, it also depends if you have or plan on getting a 1080p tv verses 1080i. Because 360 games are not on HD-DVDs, they can only upsample to 1080p over vga/component. There are already PS3 games that can do 1080p natively with a lot more coming in the future.

Game lineup currently: the 360 wins this one easily obviously. It has had over a year to develop a solid game lineup. With next-gen consoles the good games don't start to come out for a year or so since it takes awhile for people to figure out the new hardware (see Gears of War just now taking advantage of 100% of the 360's processing power). Therefore look for 2007 to be a great year for 360 games. However, look for PS3 to do the same and to have a monster year of games in 2008.

Controller: this was actually a big factor to me. The 360 controller has a huge heavy battery pack on it. The PS3 controller is a PS2 controller that is so light it feels empty. Both can charge over USB but I like the fact that the PS3 controller is so much lighter.

Online play: you have to pay for XboxLive, while PS3 online play is free. It is too early yet to say which one will provide better service though so I don't know how much you can factor this part into your decision.

For what it is worth I just bought a PS3. I will be the first to admit the game lineup blows and it will be well into this year before there are some respectable games out. If you want a console with a ton of games for right NOW then I would get a 360. I bought a PS3 as a bet that in the long run it will be more successful. Also I am partial to the few remaining exclusives on the PS3 (metal gear solid, final fantasy, gt 5, devil may cry, god of war, etc) verses some of the Xbox exclusives (halo, etc).

  4. I am selling a used pair of April77 Grey Colordrives. I bought them from glamroots, wore them twice and then got bored with them.

They have never been washed and are pretty much in new condition. I still have the original tag and the guitar pick. The only difference is I cut off the guitar pick holder.

    Measurements are:

    waist: 17in / 43cm

    front rise: 9in / 23cm

    back rise: 13in / 33cm

    inseam: 33.5in / 85cm

    knee: 7in / 18cm

    hem: 6in / 15cm

These are best for a size 29-30 waist because of how the legs fit.

I am asking $85 shipped anywhere.

There are pics all over the forums, some are:

If you are seriously interested then I can take pics upon request.

  5. Well I got my first pair of April 77s. I followed the advice of this thread and sized up 2 for a pair of grey colordrives.

Other than having to wear a belt they fit perfectly. I get a lot of stacking with the inseam on these and I think it is the perfect slimness.

Like others have said skintight jeans do not look good but I think sizing up one or two in these jeans to fit yourself in the leg creates an amazing look.
