  1. Hope I'm not ODing on pics in this thread, but I thought this was worth posting.

This weekend I went caving with a few of my friends. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing, and I was wearing my PBJs and Nudie Conny. I think it was Airfrog who said "a day in the mine is worth a month on the barstool." After this trip, I'd say that's an understatement.

Might need to wash them more aggressively.

    fantastic!

  2. okey, progression of Nudie Even Steven Dry, I know I posted the first 4 pics before, but deleted the first message & I thought a reminder of how they looked was in order...

I've had to repair the back pockets, and busted the crotch so that has been repaired too.

They're coming along incredibly fast in my opinion...

  3. i gotta say, i like the orange stitching alot better than the blue/black on the new ones. but the fit is much nicer on the Even Stevens.

The Organic Dry Even Steven comes with the classic orange stitching. Denim is nice, greencasted so I think it will wear very nicely. Im pretty sure that the Masa (Even Steven Made in Japan) comes with orange stitchings aswell...

  4. I've got the 5010XX and I'm really happy with them... The sizing is a bit awkward though - I'm usually a 26/27, but I have a 29 in these and could barely get into them at first. If you've got fairly narrow hips I'd totally recommend them though.

By the way, I'm in the UK and had to pay £50 in taxes/fees on these (the cost of the jeans including shipping was only £105). So I'd try and get the right size the first time round...

I think it has to do with that mens jeans are differently cut than womens jeans. In 501's I wear a 30", the womens jeans ive tried on (I work at a denimretail, gotta try on everything, right?) I can easily get in to a 27". It has something to do with how you measure the waist or something...

I think that 501's are actually more true to size than most other jeans, 30 inches = 76 cm. 501's measure 76 cm round the waist...
