I dont like it when they make it all "oooh check it out we've got SELVAGE in our denim, we've gotta flash it all over" then slap this extreme pricetag on them...

skull 5010xx 6x6 o/w, 1 soak
3.5 months, worn 95% of the time.
no flash
i took these today, and they were just soaked (2 days ago) with samurai thunder soap in warm water.
i'm really hoping my back pockets don't die on me soon.
Fanfuckintastic!

Can you show a pic of the pocket lining? Fabric does look nice!
there you go

Yes these ones have pocket lining in the back pockets.
Thanks a bunch Paul, always looking out for his not-so-educated fellow denim nerds
Btw your ones are really intense, it never gets dull seeing them!

Got these ones at Beyond Retro a while ago, all they could tell me was that they are an early ninties repro of some 101Z. they didnt know what period they are supposed to replicate, or where they are made (doesnt say in the jeans either) maybe some of you guys can help?
Of course they are left hand...
thanks guys!

mmm..yeah. at the same time i'm also kind of used to seeing the redlines there, so much so that even though i know it's got nothing to do with quality, i shrink away from buying non-selvedged goods. it's completely illogical.
I dont think its completely illogical, the selvage always looks prettier and (I know we've been over this a million times already on this forum) I do think you can almost be certain that when using narrow looms manufacturers tend to use high quality fabrics.
btw. I think everybody, whether they care or not, would agree that the little line that finishes the fabric makes the fabric look prettier...

According to fos5 grim tim is actually the top of FG but with a slim leg.
According to Axel who's the main salesman for Nudie in Stockholm, its actually the top of Slim Jim with a slimmer leg opening... He showed me a sample the other day and top looks just like Slim Jim, leg opening like Even Steven.

I've always had a secret crush on acid washes, we've got this Diesel Paddom in an acid wash in the shop that i've been secretly trying on a couple of times. I wont ever buy them cause diesel goes against my nature but i think the wash is pretty fly

They along with the 1901s I had are probably the most generous in the seat of all the LVCs. They are great in the summer SO COMFORTABLE.
I can imagine that with the lighter denim. my girlfriend's got 1890 and i've borrowed them a few times, they're very nice!

I really like those hair on Lees. I see you have a pair of 1886s? How do you like them and did you get them raw?
yeah I got them raw, I like em alot, they're maybe a little bit too baggy around the ass for me, but I havent soaked them yet or actually worn them outside my apartment yet. I think they're gonna be my summerjeans, I like wearing baggier jeans in summer
