  1. i was watching the preliminaries the other day when she made some mistake, she was looking all pouty and what not, so hot. that face plus those thighs equals win.

She just raped our gold medal. I'll have to give her a big hug.

  2. maybe i'm wrong but it looks like a thomson x2.

im about to buy a track bike but is it a good price for it:

    http://www.leaderbikestore.com/pd_ld_735tr_2008_track_frame.cfm

im getting a full carbon: fork, stem, seatpost and an FSA headset.

My local bike shop is offering 600 for all of it cuz i help him out a lot.

    should i?

Erm, what components will it be equipped with? It's easy for a bike guy to say, "Oh sure, I'll give you a deal and sell it to you for $600" when in reality he's not giving you a deal at all.

  3. this is the lamest shit ive ever read

Wow, this is an impressive statement coming from the queen of stupid comments. I'd say king, but jmatsu has got that shit on lockdown.

  4. track bikes are for going fast, not doing tricks or other fruity endeavors

    bring the hate

Yeah and Mona Lisa is smiling because Davinci had a small dick.

That could be the worst analogy I've ever made.

  5. Because I'd be pedaling too fast? is it a fairly light ratio?

No way...it would require a lot of effort to start that thing rolling in flats. To get an idea of what it would be like, take a road bike and put it on the big ring (I'm assuming it would be something like a 5x/3x) and then the 2nd or 3rd smallest ring on your cassette. If you can pedal that, more power to you. Literally.

  6. It's not terrible for that price, but if that really is the gear ratio, you might have to avoid anything that isn't a 30 degree downhill. Eyeballing it, I'd guess it's probably in the low 40's, but who knows?

  7. Your arm started to hurt? Do you run with clenched fists? Or are your pinching your fingers? A trick to find out if you're running with pinched fingers is to grab a blade a real grass and hold it between your fingers. After your run (or during) if you find that the blade of grass has split or disintegrated, then you should try to relax your hands while you run. If it's not the hand thing, then I have no idea what could be the problem.

I've been focusing on running as relaxed as possible, so my shoulders are typically resting back, with my arms moving rhythmically and not forced and my hands in a very loose fist-like position. I was freaking out because that's what a heart attack apparently feels like, but as a 27 year old physically fit male with no family history of heart problems, I think I might be ok. :P

It's also been 2 weeks since I last ran, since I was on vacation. Maybe I just need to get back in the saddle.

  8. anyone able to recommended good quality tires for street? wanna spend like 100-120$ for a pair. prolly 700x25. wouldn't mind some colour too.

I'm a big fan of Conti Grand Prix 4000's, as well as Michelin Krylion Carbon's. Both will run you around that price range, with the Conti's being more expensive.

  9. Just got this done a few hours ago by Cory at Capitol City Tattoo here in sunny Madison, WI. I'm absolutely loving it and despite the fact that it looks like it's all crooked and fucked up, it's actually supposed to be. It was blown up from about a 2 inch image and he replicated it perfectly. I really couldn't have asked for a better job.

  10. why so sensitive? didn't mean to make baby angry. don't be mad, i'm sure there are many people who enjoy your contributions about batman, superheroes, and crushing beer cans w/ yr head. was trying to convey that your efforts in contributing are commendable.

Do you ever just shut the fuck up? Is there an off switch? Can you leave the passive-aggressive "I'm a fucking moron" act behind for a day?

    JUST ONE FUCKING DAY PLEASE.

  11. What drives me nuts is that when I was 18, I had a job with CyberRebate.com (now seriously defunct) and I was being paid $37.50/hr at the end. We were getting time+time overtime bonuses, plus $500 bonuses for getting x and y done. Putting in a few 100 hour weeks and I was fucking rolling.

Nowadays, I'm clearing about $65-70k post taxes (since I have kids, my taxes are significantly lower), but in my defense, I am in school full-time. And I live in Madison, WI where nothing costs anything.

  12. Saw it again in IMAX. Holy IMAX. The parts that annoyed me before annoyed me more this time, but it's amazing the second time. Have lots of time to focus on the nuances. Wheeee.
