i don't know about the skinny guy in slim jeans problem. im 6 feet tall and 165 lbs and i wear nudie regular ralfs dry selvege and i look perfectly unterrifying in them. i also own a pair of crate dry selvege and those things need to start stretching or everyone will be asking about my package.

anyway, i would try the nudies. they have a tailored fit, but they arent too tight by any stretch of the imagination. matter of fact, this is a picture i took the other day:

I hate to bump a really old topic, but I found this link in a google search and wanted to clear up the problem.

I see you said "every time you wash it" in regards to the crates. Crate makes raw selvage denim that is not intended to be washed more than once or twice a year...if that. The reason you saw the shrink was because these jeans are manufactured to be worn and broken in and stretched before they are washed the first time.

The quality is actually fairly good. They don't hold the same stitching standards as my Nudie dry selvage, but I also paid double the price for those, so I would hope so. My g/f just bought me a pair about a week ago and they're still in the new stage, so I'll post some pictures later so you guys can see them.
