First day of wearing them, i'm liking the post wash fit, reminds me a bit of how my Sam S510 fit.
The waist is, like i expected, no problem at all, definitely made the right decision to go with my regular size dispite the somehow a bit confusing measurements.
The denim is still super dark post wash, and i love those little white naps, Taichi really outsourced some great denim.

Excuse the low quality, these were some quick iPhone pics.
I was anxious to give these a soak
They're drying right now after a one and a half hour hot soak, followed by a machine was at 40°C.
I did a short fitting after i pulled them out of the machine, and the result seems very much to my expectations.
Had some good shrinkage in lenght, could use a cm. more, but no doubt the inseam will shrink a bit more after some washes.
The waist fitted good, but tight, directly out of the wash, but i did some stretching by pulling i tight a couple of times anyway to assure it to fit comfy.
Pics are PRE soak:

Great fits everyone, these seem to look good no matter how they're sized, a very versatile cut.
kit714, what are those boots?
No.6 checking in, i was able to pick my pair up at the post office after i'd done some work replacing the ragtop cover on my beetle.
Big ups to Taichi-san for making a truly lovely pair of jeans and for aho and drapygo for organising it all.
I'm very impressed with the denim and the cut, i expected something good, this is much better than good though.
The sizing is very much to my expectations, the waist is just right pre soak, so i expect it to be tight but completely doable post soak, and stretch back to it's pre soak measurement with some wear.
Measurements on my size 34 pre soak, all in cm.
waist 88 (BiG style) 90,5 (Taichi style)
Rise 32
Thighs 33
Knee 25,5
Hem 24
Inseam 90
On to some pics!

The denim looks great, love those little naps.
I'm liking the fits i've seen so far, hope i'll like how mine fit as much.

Looks good, old stock, hence the red tab?
What model is it?

sorry for the accidental neg-rep Denim-garage, meant to plus-rep but hit the wrong button... nice pair indeed, really like the old arcs.

Apparently coloured laces have replaced the back pocket hanky as a preference indicator for a certain subset of promiscuous homosexual males. Double 0 told me that.
Can't quite remember what blue means...
Does this also mean you can blow your nose in them?

This is pretty stretchy denim, really relaxed on me now..
my tagged 34W is almost 36W after a few hours wear.
i'm glad to hear the denim has stretch potential, from the sound of this and the measurements posted on the 34 i'm startting to think i did make the right sizing decision.
Can't wait to recieve my pair, it's in the filthy paws of Dutch customs right now.

Fit looks good goose.

Don't forget to turn them inside out with a machine wash to avoid unwanted fadings on the creases!

Tpun, i fully agree with brownmetallic.
A boiling soak will probably ruin the patch, better would it to give them a machine wash at either 40 or 60 degrees Celcius.
I always get the most shrinkage out of a machine wash, much more than with just soaking.
You can also let them have a spin in the dryer afterwards, just a short 10 min one.

Have you only hot soaked?
a proper machine wash will possibly give you more shrinkage, it always does in my experience.

tpun, your post is a bit confusing.
Which size did you take, and what is your true waist size?

Also, I'm kind of liking the contrasting color of the "horizontal line" on the back pockets. Who's planning to take them off?
I like it, it's a keeper for me.

Hope my sizing will work out, i also ordered a 34 while i normally wear a 34 or 33 in most jeans.

I will most probably not have received the jeans by the 24th, but i'm not stressing over that fact as the contest is one year, so a few days won't certainly make the difference.

they probably were afraid of hundreds of teenage girls rampaging the store if they spotted the world famous sufu celebrity Double O Soul

Will a tracking number be provided once the jeans have been shipped?

Ed, check the chart on page 16.

That's measured BiG method, but i'm relying on his own measuring method, which proved good on the D66.

Ed, what does your waist measure?
Think you're about the same size i am, i ordered a 34 which will measure 87 cm after a wash according to how Taichi measured with his method.
I also have a size 34 in the D66, which measured 88 cm after wash, which is exactly like the website indicates.
Think these run pretty tts, remember these are higher rise than the D66, so a cm less won't hurt.

Thanks, yes double cuffed, they had less shrinkage yet than i expected at forehand.
I had been planning to wear these no cuff or with a single small cuff.
