  1. I'm not calling you out for running a big chainring, each to their own, it's good to come across another BMX'er here. I don't get the chance to ride trails much these days (a product of living in central London I guess) but spent a day eating shit at some in Germany last summer.

  2. To run 25/9 gearing he would need to change his rear wheel or at least the hub.

not really cost efficient to look up to date.

Who said anything about 25/9? You can run 36/13 on a freewheel and there's no need to change anything other than the sprocket and the freewheel. If you've ever tried crooking anything with a 46 tooth chainring you'll know what I mean.

  3. i don't remember there being all THAT much hype when those came out. at least not like there is today.

There certainly wasn't in London, I wondered into Hideout and picked up one two days after they'd been released.

I can't understand why this thread only really mentions Joy Division and Supreme. Can you not buy the T shirt due to an appreciation of Savilles work, even if you don't give two fucks about Joy Division?

    Read his book, it's mint:

  4. Tried to climb over a spiky fence, slipped on the way down and caught my finger in the top of the fence resulting in:

30-odd stitches in my finger, the pain of a dislocated shoulder was worse but there's something uniquely sickening about seeing your own bones...

  5. the carhartt streetwear is mostly pretty shitty imo. The workwear is both better looing and seems better quality.

Tenderloin Carhartt streetwear is not but the range serves a purpose, not everyone can wear the workwear, for me the jackets are just too square and too short...

  6. bump...anyone pick these up. are they out yet?

Yep they're out across Europe. PM me if you want stockist details in the U.K. Fit-wise the pictures below are of the non-selvedge, black Round-Up pant which is the same cut as the selvedge Allen Pant...

    Please excuse the shitty photos...

  7. My girl used to live in Queens Park and we used to go to the Skiddaw but now the Harrow Road acts as an invisible barrier and I tend to stay South of it. If I had one complaint about West London it'd be the pubs, I fucking hate the Westbourne and the Cow, full of coke worshipping, self-important pricks...

  8. west london is shit as!!!

try to stay EC shoreditch/dalston area, or perhaps islington. go as far up dalston to stokey (my current endz)!!

stay well away from west london unless your balding and like to chat up the waitresses at sushi dives in picadilly on business hours.

So are generalisations ;) I've lived in London for the past eight years, started off in Fulham (no atmosphere at all) moved to Streatham Hill (quite shady but dirt cheap and close to the South London oasis that is Brixton) Lived in Hommerton for six months (rough as fuck but cheap) then moved to Westbourne Park, best place I've lived by a mile, an amazing market, amazing record stores and some of the best vintage clothes stores in London are all about ten minutes away from my house...

  9. For variety in the staples Interstate is indeed your best bet, Roberto orders enough to beat the production minimums for Nashvilles in certain sizes. The Three Threads on Charlotte Road, Shoreditch (round the corner from Start) has probably got the greatest variety of styles.

  10. Just had a look through it as well, the Mackintosh collab looks fucking amazing as does the embroidered crew and snowcave zip through... The Rittenhouse stuff's good as well...
