  1. re the slim fit model - it's a tight weave, so they don't stretch that much but will give at least an inch. (mine have stretched 1.5 in total)

they measure one inch up from tagged size - so a tagged 29 measures 30. so you may want to consider getting a 28...

  2. Re the 0200 cut: I spoke by email with someone in evisu customer service a few months ago (might have been matt, actually). He said the 0200 was a new 'skinny' cut.

My guess would be probably lower rise and slightly slimmer than the 0005. Hopefully not too low rise.

Any ideas about when they are releasing all this?

  3. they're getting the cushions 'next season'. not sure when that means, but they said it would be in time for winter. I may have to go back for some, will make the shell a bit more versatile.

EM's a great store, but yeah, makes me feel pretty damn poor (and under-dressed) every time I go in. they have a few amazing CCP pieces in particular at the moment - like a jacket made out of perforated kangaroo leather! worth a look definitely.

  4. As stated in title. The 2007 retro.

$170AUD, plus shipping. I'll cover the paypal costs. I am located in Melbourne, Australia, and am willing meet up in the city/inner northern suburbs.

These have been worn maybe 10 times, and are in excellent condition, probably 8.5/10.

They have a few light scuffs (can probably be cleaned out), and the toebox on the right shoe is lightly creased.

They come in the original box with the retro card.

Stain on laces on left shoe. Could be easily washed out, or you can put on some new laces...

  5. @ ujan1: I don't speak any japanese, so i didn't do too much interaction with the locals.

But with that said, the people at the Momotaro store (AND the dying workshop) were awesome and really helpful, as were the people at the Betty Smith Jeans Museum.

  6. Can you be more specific? Are you there on business, on a buying trip? In any event I personally can't really give you any more information than the comments I have already posted in this thread. All the best with your endeavors though.

To all y'all who have recently +repped me for this thread - thanks! :)

I'm really glad others have got something out of it.
