I'm thinking about going to the Virgin festival. If I go I'll be looking out for some folks sporting some contest or great denim.

If you're going to soho check out Blue in Green (http://www.blueingreensoho.com) and get a pair that you like that is quite possibly going to be a straight leg jean and they can chainstitch hem it for you at a length you like in store. Done.

I walk, play four square, dodgeball, sit around, go on the internet too often, watch movies, ride around, play video games and sleep in these dungarees. I wish I got to wear them Monday-Thursday at work during the elementary school year, but then I wouldn't look "professional" enough for the kindergartners. I do have this summer for total participation, though.

I'm pretty sure the crotch is going to tear open so I am going to reinforce it.

Here a few pictures. I washed them last week and I have no recollection of how many times they have been washed, but most likely more than a handful of times. I didn't use the flash, just indoor lighting.

I had to do a lot of re-stitching. One of the pockets came half off and I didn't get it right on exactly with my hand sewing.

Samurai S5000-KA

2005 special edition persimmon dyed S5000 cut with gold buttons.

For sale are a pair of Nudie Straight Sven Flame Selvedge from early 2006.

They have been worn for maybe a month total (here and there) and have some wear in the rear back pocket and on the seat area. I tried to capture this. There are some creases where the jeans have been cuffed and around the whiskers, but no real wear so this could all be ironed out easy.

The pictures are pretty blurry, but they are legit Nudie jeans and look like Nudies look like.

I am asking a total of $100US shipped to the States or $115US shipped to anywhere else. Tell me what's up if you want them.

I'd definitely be down for doing a second rotation. Maybe even a LFT vs RHT rotation thing. But here's my idea. After a year, they go to BiG and are displayed for a month and get pictures for their website and then they go back out for another year and the same thing.

Most of my favorite worn jeans take longer than a year to mature completely.

Of course, I'm mostly saying this so I could possibly be a part of this project: but why stop after one year? I'm a 30 and definitely would love to participate.

If the thing with Gordon doesn't come through, I have a fresh pair of Studio D'Artisan SD-103 and SD-003 (both with arcs and tabs) in size30 that could be donated.

Yeah, I oiled up this old nasty leather belt and it is bleeding as much as the indigo did the first couple of months.

What's up with the Dior line on the right, back pocket?

It's part of my wallet. It has a part that sticks out.

386- I like the dark patch and would like to acheive a similar look on my Canes. Did you you Obenauf's LP or just their regular leather oil?

The boot oil. I've used LP on it as well, but the oil is what made it dark.

I think we should get celebrity judges like Toshiko-san from Samurai, that lady from Skull, Gordon from BiG, etc. But that's just me.

It could easily be something off-site such as the judges. I think that is a good idea. Maybe they could decide on which jeans to eliminate every day or two.

Or we could put a small modification to our website to allow voting.

It would be pretty easy for a bunch of people's friends to vote for their pair if it was a public no-register anonymous type of thing.

I used to wear a pair of Julian Red California with some slip-ons and it fit nicely onto the shoe.
